Given how wotc loves to not announce changes both adding and removing things from the site, I'd say it is their fault and not the customers for not knowing it has been added.
Look at all the discourse about a toggle for the 24 rules for the better part of a year, they add it and say nothing.
Then there is the search function powered by wild magic, you can't expect people to use that to find things on this site, again on wotc not the customers.
There are many more things that further tip the scales, but given this thread is what it is and the likelihood of anyone that could implement the better suggestions made is extremely low why bother stomping someone's want? It has been made very clear we will get what we get when they want to give it.
Let the pipe dreams abound.
There's a post that was on the front page when it was posted on June 13, linking directly to the toggle? They added it, posted about it, and put it in the change log. There was also a forum post about it.
To be fair, the changelog is pretty well hidden. If you don't happen to already know it's under the media tab for whatever reason, you're unlikely to come across it.
1) The ability to search and/or filter on existing monster properties. For example, I'd like to be able to select "Has spellcasting feature", or "Has False Appearance feature", or "Has Unusual Nature feature" to help me find monsters appropriate for a certain environment or encounter idea.
2) The ability to search and/or filter on a query or text, in both the statblock as well as the description of the monster. For example, I'd like to be able to enter "Dragon" in a searchbox, and find Kobolds because their description tells you those often hang around in dragon lairs.

Something different, what is the old adage about beating your head against a wall, change and insanity?
The onus is on wotc, not the customers.
I'd argue that "You can lead a horse to water, you can't make it drink".
Trying to shove it down the throat of people who aren't listening isn't going to be successful. More likely it will just generate more avenues of drama and "WOTC is wrong again!" posts.
They are doing a decent job of advising people of what they do on the front page of the website. Plenty more we want them to do but those things they get done are definitely well advertised for the most part, because they need every bit of goodwill they can get.
Big flashing light graphics with "THIS IS HAPPENING" wouldn't stop second hand news IMO. Nor would forcing every article into every person's private feeds.
I do think communication is a problem, but it isn't that it's not happening at all.
But the clear issue, time & time again, is BlackRock & other investors pushing Hasbro into pushing WotC to do maximum investor payout with minimal cost & risk, ESPECIALLY post-US lockdown.
IMO, it wouldn't hurt to have a Beyond development roadmap, and to know which ideas have been rejected by all management, lawyers &/or other employees that have more pull than WotC's allocation of Beyond staff.

I'd say that's arguable. When I open the front page, all I see there is advertisements in the form of links to the marketplace. To see actual written posts, I have to scroll down. As a result, I don't bother checking them out all that regularly anymore.
As a DM I would like to create a campaign and add one of my characters to the campaign instead of creating New unassigned characters or premade unassigned characters. My group can then use campaigns and encounters together. and my friends that cannot make it regularly can play my character in the campaign.

You can already do this, just navigate to the campaign invite link and join with a character you've made
A much, MUCH MUCH MUCH better initiative tracker. The tracker now is terrible, conditions can't be tracker, exhaustion can't be tracked, NOTHING can be tracked. This is absolute TRASH, when a $1.99 app blows your tracker out of the water.
If that won't work, let us import our content to another app.
And the simple ability to expend hit die outside of a short rest. thanks

I agree about the conditions on enemies, but you realize your character sheet can track both conditions on players, and exhaustion, right? Enemies don't get exhaustion, so really, the only thing it's missing is enemy conditions (which I agree it needs).

That would be really cool, but i'm guessing there would probably be licensing concerns of some kind
Folders!
Since I have many characters, I would love to have easy access to my new characters while also having access to my older characters
Quite a number of them are also people not realisng the feature exists

The changelog is accessible from every page on the site at the very top

I never realized that was there! I'm guessing I'm not the only one.
Now that I think about it, maybe they could add a small red tag to it like with the notification bell whenever the changelog is updated?

This is exactly what I want.

They added the ability to disable 2024 character options months ago.
