Simple question, but I'm not sure if an answer is coming any time soon.
As we all know, D&D 5e is getting a major revision to its 3 Core Rulebooks in 2024 (the 10th anniversary of this edition and 50th anniversary of D&D overall). New core rulebooks will be printed, with similar updated content to what we got in Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse, with the Tasha's changes to racial mechanics and the updated versions of monster stat blocks (probably with Mythic Actions for certain powerful monsters and backgrounds granting a free feat, as well). These books will have to be brought to this site.
Will the original core rulebooks still be available to be bought after these Anniversary Edition versions have been released? Or will they become unavailable to buy (similar to how Volo's Guide to Monsters and Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes are unavailable to buy now that Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse has been brought to this site)?

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
I think it is highly likely that the current 5e core books will be discontinued across the board. That is what has happened with every edition thus far and it does not make a lot of sense to continue to publish/sell content that will compete with their new version.
I would be surprised if they continue to offer the older versions., and there's a decent chance they'll create some combination of carrot and stick to encourage switching, because they'd really rather the player base not splinter (they may not be able to prevent it, of course).
They'll likely give an answer in a live stream, fail to store the VOD for reference, and then neglect to mention it again until two weeks before the release of the core books. ;)
But yeah, I very much expect the "old" books will be quietly sent to a farm upstate.
Just IMHO... but any new edition to the core D&D rules will NOT change significantly from the current 5e rules.
Why? Glad you asked. Simply because it's easily been the most successful edition of D&D. Period. It's been played for nearly 8 years and made wildly popular from online shows and players (notably Critical Role) in all that time, and it's still growing and growing.
Personally, I think they will only make minor changes to the core rules if at all.

I believe that it will be exactly as we have seen with MoM. People who want the old rules better buy while they can. Two years passes in a blink.
