Hello! I've recently joined a group that uses dice roll proficiency instead of just using a standard number For example if your Prof bonus is +4 , you instead roll a d8 whenever applicable. This is a new rule to me and I'm wondering does anyone know a way to work this into the app? I can remove the +4 prof by adding a manual negative -4 modifier but then how would I quickly know which skills/abilities I should use a d8 with https://192168ll.link/https://routerlogin.uno/? Any ideas?
Proficiency dice are an optional rule from the PHB that is not currently supported by DDB, and likely never will be. All of your skills and saving throws should still have proficiency markers, even if the bonus is +0, and you automatically get proficiency on all attacks you make with weapons you are proficient with. All of your proficiencies (weapons, tools, etc.) are all listed under the Proficiencies & Languages tab of your sheet too.
