I have a articifer armorer/rune fighter with tavern brawler feat and he is a plasmoid, I love the idea of making anything he can carry into a improvised weapon. I would like to create a weapon handle that is either jabbed or attached to any object that can be carried to add a damage modifier for objects over 100 lbs. because tavern brawler only does the same damage no matter how much something weighs. does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of doing a d12 for every 100 lbs. an object weighs then give it charges where the item would need to be replaced after like 4 or 5 swings with it. also make a rule it cant be a living creature because it would likely free itself the first chance it got. The artificer does not have many vestiges if any or even weapons that are specifically for artificer. I feel that a shape changing weapon or like this idea of a handle that turns every day objects into bludgeons is right down the artificer alley. right now my articifer can become huge and lift 2000 lbs also in another campaign he used a small fishing sail boat as a club and threw the roof of a house like a frisbee. The campaign I am in is going to lvl 20 so I am just kind of trying to crowd source ideas for a balanced universal weapon
Sorry, but under no circumstances should a character be allowed to just turn whatever they want into a weapon and get a damage bonus based on its size. Especially not something that literally weighs a ton.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

How? O.o
Even with a Strength of 30 the maximum for a Huge creature is 1800 lbs. How are you getting 2000 lbs?

It also rather handily tells you about encumberance threshholds and associated penalties if you use those options.
The following is a rather vague idea and a bit of a ramble....
As to the OP, I think to save the DM so time you might want to look into something like the Rod of Mercurial Form (see the Crit Role/Tal Dorai setting) but also keep in mind the amount you can carry does not mean you can throw a like amount or even use it in a suitably weaponised way and improvised weapons should be somewhat similar to a normal weapon, so a bar stool used 2 handed might be the same as a great club, a fork might be the same as a dagger etc, it tends to fall apart when you look at huge sized critters. To use a real world analogy; Weight/Power liftes can lift huge amounts of weight but cannot easily move it around let alone throw it great distances, so you ight need to rein in your expectations a bit, as a thought, your DM might be able to do a basic bit of mathmatics as follows: If medium sized creatures calculate their carry weight as Strength Score x15 and a Huge creature calculates it as Strength Score x15 x4 then the easiest way to decide the damage of a improvised weapon used by a Hige sized creature would be to draw a comparison to a normal weapon and then multiple the damage by 4, for instance, if you pushed a Wagon into someone then they might say its a big bludgeoning weapon and uses a maul for damage but instead of rolling 2d6 you roll 8d6. You could also look at the types of weapons that Huge creatures, such as giants, use and see if the DM can come up with suitable options so you might be able to throw something and use the Hill Giants Boulder attack for range/damage etc.
Also keep in mind the consequences of your in character actions....NPC's etc may not like the fact your character is tossing about their lifestock, transportation or parts of their houses as weapons.

Talk to your DM and work it out with them. Any ideas you crowd source are going to have to go through your DM first anyway.
Should anyone want it I found this "auto weight calculator" thing a while ago:' https://www.thievesguild.cc/core/carrying-capacity.php
