While it's not the same as an official update of course, if you want to see the Artificer get some love for now you can check out the "Alternate Artificer" and its 14 subclasses by Laserllama.
personally (maybe just me being dramatic) but it feels like WOTC doesnt consider us to be part of the core of dnd and just side content when all other TTRPGs have some type of artificers (the ones similar to DnD)
That seems to be an overstatement, at least in the revised Core, I'm not seeing an obvious Artificer analog in Pathfinder 2 Player Core, though I think something may be slated for Player Core 2. Yeah, the Alchemist is in Player Core 2, but not the Inventor, and I really don't know if those are the games best Artificer analogs.

I too think we are getting PHB 2 for 2024 rules, with 4 old subclasses updated for each class. Updated species ,As well as the artificer, maybe a brand new class to sell the book.

they have already said they arent adding artificer to the 2024 PHB unless you mean like a PHB part 2 style thing

Did you read their post? They were predicting a hypothetical PHB2.

Long as it comes out within next 2 years I think be room for subclasses in future books :s
It's not a matter of timing; they currently want to keep secondary books accessible by not making them extensively cross-reference. It's arguably the opposite of a money-making move, since otherwise later books could have more "prerequisite" books than just the Core 3/Basic Rules, which practically every group is going to have as a matter of course. I obviously can't definitively say whether or not they'll change that policy, but so far it's been a deliberate decision, not just the way releases shook out.
Literally the only true statement in this entire post is that artificer isn’t in the PHB.
Oh and do you know any 3rd party supplements with artificer subclasses? Or any official books?
Artificer isn't SRD, so third party wouldn't be able to make a subclass.
Note: I don't count Dmsguild as third party.
The DMs Guild is a third party platform for third party content, they just have a license agreement with Wizards of the Coast. Their parent company (OneBookShelf) is literally owned by roll20. The difference between DMs Guild content and other third party platforms is that the license agreement they have with Wizards of the Coast allows those content creators publishing through DMs Guild to use more of the D&D IP
Other than OP nobody said they couldn't cast Cure Wounds anymore. We don't know where they got it and it is probably missinformation.

This person seems to be making an assumption that isn't actually supported by the way the rules work. Specific beats general and the specific artificer spell list will still override the spell list of the spell itself, just as it did for the 2014 Player's Handbook. For example, by the logic they present here, any subclass that grants a spell not found on the spells class list can't actually take that spell, which isn't how the rules work.
I think by her logic the Artificer doesn't have ANY spells anymore. But looking in the comments of her video people seem to have told her, so it's a case of one person being wrong - that can happen.
To be honest though, how long are actually expecting 2024e to last? It's based on a 10-year old engine, that's granted very popular but old nonetheless...I don't think it'll last as long as 2014e did. In which case, there won't be much time.for new subclasses to come out (beyond what comes with the initial release) anyway.

i was mainly joking lol not like they can nor would reprint the book just for people who like artificers

Wait a minute… where did anyone state that the artificer won’t be able to cast cure wounds?!?

I have to ask, if DM’s Guild isn’t 3PP… then what is it…?
