(Change from UA) Magic Initiate feat ALSO can only do Cleric Druid Wizard
Wait Whaaat? No more MI to get Eldritch Blastor Armor of Agathys? YESSS!
Correct! and people who were afraid of Magic Initiate: Divine Smite or Hunter's Mark have been addressed too.
Mark of Finding subraces get Hunter's Mark, though...
There's going to be incompatibilities in 2014 to 2024. That said, it really does look like a lot from the Eberron book is just flat out non-core at this point.

Except, while this limits single-class builds from such abilities, it's easier than ever for multiclass builds to get Hunter's Mark or even Divine Smite, since it requires only a one-level investment in those classes to get their Spellcasting feature. (And yes, Divine Smite has been all but stated to be part of the Paladin's spell list; the feature just gives it always prepared.) It doesn't even set you back in spell slot progression anymore, either.
So it just creates more of a gulf between pure-classed PCs and multiclassed PCs.
Multiclassing is an optional rule, so if dips bother you, simply tell your players you're not using it.
People dipping Paladin for Smite, Ranger for HM, or Warlock for EB+Hex is something they can already do today.
They seem to imply that your spell lists depend on your subclass for caster classes? So we'd have to reboot older subs to include spell lists
Certain subclasses get additions to their spell lists, which was already the case in 2014; just a couple subclasses have that feature that didn't have the feature before.
do bards aren’t able to have greater steed? Well that sucks.
for been wanting to play as a bard who has a dragonnel mount who sings and performs while riding on top of one… guess I can’t now
this is a little stupid ngl. I don’t see why they made a change to what spells magical secrets provide
if they were worried about bards having smite spells, then maybe smite should have remained a base paladin feature. Would also solve problems like paladins not being able to smite certain fiends
Why wouldn't you be able to have a dragonnel mount?
I am seeing a lot of your comments in the Overview threads and it just mainly seems that you have no interest in 2024 rules. Is that about right? Do you intend to play using the 2024 rules?

Sure you can. Ask your DM for a dragonnel companion for your bard.
This. And it is the main reason the 'pet subclasses' are so problematic. There is nothing in the rules prohibiting gaining such pets/companions the old fashioned way, namely meeting them and befriending them (rather than simply conjuring them). Is there a power level issue there, with the pet being potentially outlevelled and thus too weak to survive? Yes, but again, depends on the DM and the pet they choose and how they choose to handle it.
Can someone sell me on the extended duration of Bardic Inspiration? I get that mechanically it is an improvement. And that doesn't bother me.
I feel the same way about it as it did about the Infusions of the Artificer. (Yes you're helping the party but not in the moment).
I see nothing wrong with a character helping another. But something 5e did better than 3e was make buffing more immediate and short term (in general). From a play style there is a big difference between, "you're trying to do something, let me help you with magic!" and "here, take this central part of my character and use it as some point in the future." In typical play, the inspiration is something special the bard can do in combat or other action, to help another player. But the new version feels removed to me. Is it still a bonus action? Why? There is little reason not to do first thing in the adventure. So again it is given, it doesn't address a specific need the Bard senses. It just feels very abstract. In our games our bards frequently try a little song or inspiring speech tied directly to the actions at hand.
I've been toying with an alternative. Make Bardic Inspiration a reaction to someone failing a D20 roll. Immediate and directly related to what is going on. It feels thematically more active.

The hosts mentioning ARTIFICERS gives me hope and a tank full of copium.
I want to play Dance Bard so bad, it so fun. DANCE OFF with your enemies
Of the new subclasses the college of dance bard is easily the most interesting to me. Definitely looking forward to giving one a twirl. xD
Maybe they'll give us Art in first supplement

It's because some classes (usually half-casters) have spells that are specifically overtuned because they're exclusive to that class.

The differences are covered in this article.
Characters get to feel inspired for up to an hour instead of up to 10 minutes now.
A reaction as an alternative isn't a new concept. That was attempted in the playtests
