Looking at the 2024 warlock character creator options, I noticed an issue; There is no way to access or expand the list of eldritch invocations for the 2024 warlock.
I was hoping that DnD Beyond would support the advertised backwards compatibility of the 2024 edition, but it seems there is no way to use invocations from earlier sourcebooks with the 2024 warlock in the character builder, even if you have legacy option turned on. On top of that, because there is still no way to add homebrew invocations, that's not a solution either.
Currently, if you want to use older invocations like eldritch sight, gift of the ever-living ones, protection of the talisman, etc, You'll have to select the legacy warlock class or give up on DnD Beyond's character builder and use pen and paper. Where is the backwards compatibility support?
It's probably just a glitch, take a look in the Bugs forum and see if anyone else is having the same problem. There's a feew things not working how they should at the moment

This is still an issue... I really wanted to be able to use Eyes of the Runekeeper and Voice of the Chainmaster for one of my characters in a campaign I'm in that's using the 2024 rules, but they don't even show as options with the new warlock class. It's really sad, and I hope they fix it soon.
July and still not working, I think they've just given up and hope people stop asking.
They are probably just waiting until 2024 releases the invocations again in a supplement. fixing this then needing to readd them x months down the line again is just extra work, when they likely have plenty of other things going on.
I mean, at the basic level these are 2014 class features, and unlike spells they didn’t have a preexisting distinct framework and setup that could be used to tie them to 2024 while flagging them as Legacy to help weed out duplicates/updates. We might just have to wing it on the character sheets.
Will the Warlock Invocations be finally fixed in 2026 (cantrip-based invocations, expanded rules and non reprinted legacy invocations)?
Will it be possible to use Maps' encounter builder from the app in the future? It's a cool tool but it would be great to be able to use it for IRL sessions.
Any plan to add proper DM session notes in Maps? By that I mean some sort of pin that would open a note, such as the description of a room ?
Any plan to add the ability to change the size of a token/ change the picture of a token in map? It's a bit annoying having to create a homebrew monster everytime we want a commoner with a different face.

A1: The core underlying issue here is a backend for game data and game rules we have started to rebuild. Getting through that work will take time. But its what will unlock the ability to support many more D&D rules not currently supported on D&D Beyond.
A2: If you are talking about the new encounter builder being usable outside of Maps, then yes! This work is planned. No ETA.
A3: Also yes! This is part of our work to improve the DM experience.
A4: Yes, customization within Maps is important and we plan to expand the amount of customization options over time.
There's a bunch more answers there to read through but thought I'd share. They also explain what happened with a la carte purchases for those who were looking for answers on that.

It's supposed to work though according to the change log

It's currently an issue that needs to be fixed on the website

Nearly 6 months later and this is still broken.

Just FYI, Brian Perry from WotC hosted a reddit AMA last week where he spoke to this issue:
