That’s not how liars dice work basically after you hit a target you got to declare that you will hide your damage dice and once it’s rolled, you see a number if DM accept it it’s the number you declare it is if he challenges you and you lied you do half the damage you dealt if you were telling the truth you double it and I say yes it does slow down it cause I’m personally playing a high roller but some instances you gotta do some eye damage. This class is basically high risk high reward do more damage or no damage and I don’t think lawyers dice is a band the skill you’re basically removing it’s only a core function because everything basically relies on where I can be your highest damage dealer weakest one depends on the person I say it’s a good skill

No.
I've played a game with Liar's Dice, and it is really fun and doesn't slow things down. The player just says they're rolling in secret, rolls the die, announces the roll, and the DM says if they accept it or not. It takes maybe 10 seconds longer than a normal roll. I agree that it makes zero sense in-world, but D&D is a game.
I do agree it takes like 10 seconds and I love this sub class. It’s tied for First in my opinion, but not everyone is super fast when it comes to that feature of liar dice, but it’s not a bad thing it’ll take time for people to get used to it and it’s an excellent feature to you know you get a critical hit you might even do double the damage of your critical hit which I think it’s great. It’s a great skill to have but some people will ask to see the actual role if you haven’t hidden, they’re gonna ask to see the proof. I do the Discord method where I send it to the group or at least send it to one person to confirm it but not everyone can do that so I see the pros and cons but gunslinger all the other features for high roller. Excellent way to recover risk dice and deal high damage with with the skills of every single gaming set they’re on the planet you’re able to gamble and play any game and use your gambling skills to get some great stuff
