How can I print a magic item to give to my players? I customized a magic item and would like to have it as a handout because it could be used by any of my PC's. I have the full subscription and all the books purchased too.
You can print the description page, or, if you don't want the extraneous stuff (headers, etc), take a cropped screenshot (or a screenshot and then crop it)
What I do for this is I bring up the description in D&D Beyond and screenshot it, then I paste it into MS Paint and crop the part i care about. Finally I paste it into Word and print it there. I can usually fit several items on a page that way and then I just cut the page into pieces and hand them out. That might seem overly complicated, but I'm pretty fast with it.
I would love to see something like this for Monster statblocks too. The snipping tool works well enough, but a one-click statblock print would be GREAT!
Yeah, those are cool, but you still gotta fill them in with info that is already paid for and organized in DDB. Just need a way to print them to save valuable prep time. IMHO.
Still just need a print button for homebrew and official content items, equipment and monsters. Just spent hours cutting and pasting and cropping for a bunch homebrewers magic items my party is going to be identifying next CoS session. Ugh.

ok, thanks. Just seems like there should be a "print" button that produces a handout of the item/spell or whatever. Thanks.

Yup, I'm doing the same thing right now. Thanks. Just seems like a simple thing they could add IMHO.

Totally would help game prep and prevent diving into the monster manual and other books during the session. Seems like a no brainer addition to me.
fwiw: you can crop things in Word too
(MSWord's image manipulation interface is actually fairly robust)
I've been using Mercer's Excel template...I uploaded it to Google Sheets and add to/print as needed.

A simple print option would be so much easier and faster. Ugh. Badeye, are you listening?
