I've seen that you can buy single classes / races on other forum posts, but I cant find out how you do so. I just want to buy the Drow race and look at the other options. I dont have enough for the full books :(
I know how to buy individual race/class on the D&D Beyond Website. But how do you buy individual race/class on the app version of D&D Beyond? I have some extra cash on my apple account and i would love to spend it on that without buying the entire supplement book.
It's buried and it took me a while to find it. You'd think that Wizards would make it easier to take our money, eh?
Using the Player's Handbook as an example, from https://www.dndbeyond.com/marketplace click on Soucebooks > Player's Handbook (not the "Add to Cart" button, click on the cover art image) > and then scroll down past another "Add to Cart" button. You'll see "Additional Purchase Options" which includes individual purchase options for feats, backgrounds, spells, subclasses, and subraces.
Happy purchasing!
[EDIT] I should have read your response a little closer, as I now see that you are asking about the app, not the website.

Two thoughts:
Wizards doesn’t own this website. This website is owned by an entirely different company, fandom inc.
Like you said, you go to the same place where you would buy the whole book... and just scroll down.... 🤷♂️ Is that not easy?
Apparently you cant buy The Artificer Class seperately
You can indeed purchase the artificer class separately. You can do so by navigating to the purchase page for Tasha's Cauldron of Everything and scroll down to the subclass purchase options. From there, purchase any of the following artificer subclasses to also unlock the base class:

Yea precisely :) and i Does not seem to be able to find where it says i need to buy all subclasses for get the class?
First of all, what Stormknight said. You only need 1.
But otherwise, you might have a point. I don't see anything that says you get the class by buying a subclass (even checked eberron and Tasha support threads).
But it makes sense that if you buy a subclass, you'd be able to use it.

He technically wasn't wrong. You do need to buy a subclass to get the class.
Though a class without subclasses isn't all that useful...

You don't need to buy all of them - purchase one or more of them and you get access to the Artificer class.

So is there a way to buy it on the app?
Don’t buy anything on the app, it sucks. Always make your purchases directly through the website for your own sake.

Was the option to buy "a la carte" removed?
This feature has been removed so this thread is no longer accurate. As such it will be locked to avoid confusion
