Hi Mattie! D&D Beyond will be supporting this new version of the Blood Hunter! Once we have more to share on the topic, we'll be sure to let everyone know.
I like the changes. The switch to INT-based is interesting to me and they added a bunch of new blood curses. Overall, it's a more complex class now, but I like it better. I think i will offer it to the blood hunter in our party, but i will likely handwave the new INT stuff into WIS stuff to match the way his character was built beforehand.

In my opinion the order of the profane soul is so underpowered, in my opinion it should have its spell table identical to the eldritch knight, but make it warlock spells, not wizard spells. 2 spells is just pointless in my opinion and the few cantrips are not very useful either, I feel like bloodhunter order of the profane souls should work more like a warlock branch off of the eldritch knight with the same pact features as well, because he feels more like a weaker eldritch knight that's edgy.
Keep in mind that it is a martial class with decent combat options as intended to be a non-spellcaster. It gets the weak parts of warlock because otherwise it would be a better class than warlock. Warlock is strong because of invocations and those make up for the lack of spells. Bloodhunter makes up for that with martial ability and their own new combat style in this subclass option. Also at 7th level you can cast a cantrip and then make a weapon attack, for example Green Flame Blade and then a Longsword attack is essentially Extra attack but with the added effect of the fire, as it uses the normal effects of the weapon you are using, your rites will work too.
Just have to change your playstyle a little to accommodate the spells. May as well use the spell slots for defence such as Armor of Agathys or Hold Person. The uses are endless and can really lend to enhancing the Bloodhunter. Spider Climb for example lets you fulfil your Witcher fantasies by fighting spiders on the ceiling or even a Vampire who refuses to come down and fight. It is only as weak as your imagination or DM allows ;)
If it's anything like the normal Profane Soul, you get spell selections from the normal Warlock spell list. Hex, Armor of Agathys, Hellish Rebuke, whatever floats your boat. You get a new spell every other Blunter level, maxing out at 11 known spells at 20th level with three cantrips and two Pact slots of fourth level.
Considering all of this is attached to an otherwise pretty serviceable martial class (assuming it's been buffed in this 2020 iteration, which I do not have access to), it's not awful. Especially if Mystic Frenzy is still there, giving you half your multiattack even after using your spells. Especially with the switch to Intelligence as the secondary stat for Blunters over Wisdom, which opens up shit like War Magic/Bladesinging multiclasses or MI: Wizard if you want to focus more on the magecraft. And if you don't want to focus on the magecraft, why take this Order?

Is that your opinion?
Unfortunately, Matt took away one of the most interesting features of the Profane Soul--the 11th level Diabolic Channel.

Well seeing as it's for sale on DMSGuild ($8) I doubt it will be for free on DnD Beyond. Though I still hope it somehow makes it here, even as paid content. Assume it won't be in the Explorers Guide, again because then why would it be being sold on DMG?
Anyone seen this yet? Think we’ll get this updated version on dnd beyond? It’s a complete overhaul of the blood hunter class
They've confirmed in a few tweets that I'll be coming to Beyond at some point, but there's no ETA.
Amazing, I can't wait!

My guess would be once it goes back to PWYW in a couple of weeks.

Could always just let him swap the two stats, no?

Profane soul lets you take some great warlock spells. It doesn't matter if it is just 2 spells, hex and hellish rebuke are both great options.
Not sure if those are avaliable, I haven't bought it, but if it lets you take 2 warlock spells of your choice, it is good.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms

I agree the Profane soul is so underpowered.

Will the new blood hunter be added to the character options?

Wouldn't this be included in the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount coming out soon?
May your rolls be crits and your sessions be frequent
There is already another thread on this here:

In summary, it is coming at some point, in some way :)

Dope thank you
I believe Matt Mercer confirmed that it would go back to PWYW after the charity drive is over.
Also just gonna say, Eldritch Blast + BA attack with a ranged weapon? Not a bad combo...
EDIT: Adding to what SSJRob was saying about the 7th level feature for Profane Soul.
