I downloaded the book as shared content and it still doesn't work :( when choosing the character species the book doesn't show up to unlock extra species
As shared content, you can only access it on characters you have in that specific campaign. It isn’t being shared with “you,” it’s being shared with “that campaign.”

Make the goblin character in the campaign the content is shared with and then have that character leave the campaign. Just make sure you still have your original character in the campaign so you don't have to rejoin after removing the goblin.
