I was making a character who mostly focuses mainly on juggling, which is performance. I'd like to maximize the Performance skill.
The build I currently have is a Half-Elf Rogue. I picked Half-Elf because of +2 charisma and Skill versatility (One of them is performance). Rogue is because of expertise. Is there any additional way for me to be even more efficient with performance?
Edit: If you’re allowed to take Unearthed Arcana, then take the Wild Talent feat and pick whichever ability score you use for your checks. You can add an extra d6 to d12 to your rolls.
Select performance as one of your expertise choices. Maximize your Charisma with ASIs.
If juggling is you "act" I'd consider asking my DM if you could use Dexterity as your Performance base skill in place of Charisma. Then you may maximize Dexterity with ASIs rather than maximizing Charisma.
I think you could also try the Lucky Feat to give you a second roll if the first one is a real dud.

Ermm, if you really wanted to stretch it. You could wear a disguise, try to be someone else, and pick up the Actor feat. Then you'd get advantage on the check.

Thanks.
Ahoy!
Try to get both Guidance and Enhance Ability cast on you. Then you'll have advantage and add a d4 to your checks.
Oh, thanks. However, I'm just looking for things I could do with my build itself. I personally don't rely on teammates too much.
Ahoy!
You can take the Magic Initiate feat to get Guidance!

Enhance Ability is a 2nd level Transmutation Wizard spell. You are taking Rogue for Expertise.
Make it Arcane Trickster, so you can learn Wizard spells. At 8th level you can take a 2nd level Wizard spell of any school - take Enhance Ability.
As a level 14 Lore Bard you can add your own inspiration (a d10 at that point) to your ability checks.
