This voice tried to strike a deal with the party, in exchange for a new direction and various bits of information she wanted the party to leave the tyrant's operation alone. The party identified the being as Aunril, a goddess of darkness and cold. The party ultimately denied help from her, and the party woke up from the experience unharmed. At this time Damascus decided to share his one remnant of his past with the party: a tattered banner embroidered with a shattered ruby. Session 17 Update:
The party teleported to their destination Portnunarstad. The Omen Orb activated and guided them to a secure chamber within the ruins of the former giant city. There were to giants guarding the entrance, one of frost and one of fire, that the party engaged and defeated. Once inside the party discovered some sort of contraption that awaited the insertion of a myriad of items. There seems to be space for the Omen Orb, some type of giant ring, and six openings for giant runes. One of the giant rune openings was already filled with a storm rune. Additionally constructs guarding this contraption seemed hostile, but the presence of the orb seemed to induce some passivity within them. On the towering roof of this chamber was a song carved in giant. Laric managed to decipher it, but failed to draw any further meaning from it. The party decided to go after the Ring of Winter, an object of interest for Gustavo, because it may fit into the ring-shaped space in the contraption. The party quickly teleported away as they noticed three more giants entering the room, and they appeared at one of the orifices on their map. According to the map to the Ring of Winter found in the tomb of Fowlfegurd, the Ring of Winter is within Orifice 6, but the party had managed to teleport to Orifice 1 with the teleportation helm. The party decided to investigate the orifice anyways, and they now delve into unknown dangers in their journey to stop Ragnarok...

Session 18 Update:
The party journeyed into the orifice, and they ran into a frost worm's nest. Most of the party decided to avoid the area once they discovered what it was, but the rest of the party investigated another part of the tunnels. Spider Pig entered what he recognized as a shrine to Hjalm surrounded by the vision-causing milkyshock water. He gave into visions of a stirring god-slaying titan father. Aranailius followed him in and managed to resist the visions as the Omen Orb warned the party against entering the shrine and its water. Aranilius's investigation yielded no new results, and the party moved to explore the rest of the cave system. During this time Gustavo melted the ice wall safeguarding the frost worm's eggs, and this summoned the creature back to the area. With the exception of Spider Pig, the party managed to escape the tunnels and move out of reach of the frost worm. Spider Pig attempted to take on the frost worm alone by leveraging his invisibility, but he could not withstand the pure destructive power of the worm after falling victim to its mind-scrambling trill. Spider Pig somehow managed to survive being consumed by the frost worm by turning into an ooze and escaping in its excretion. The party decided to teleport back to Potnunarstad to make it to the orifice containing the Ring of Winter. The party set out from the abandoned giant city, and during their first night on watch they were attacked by a squadron of trolls. The trolls managed to kill Spider Pig, who has dropped a mysterious coin among the rest of his remains...

In a flurry of spells the party teleported away from Drayidus and Telesaia to Ellila's hometown. The party now rests here, and overnight the party was informed of numerous problems and ways forward. The newcomer Waelin made contact with the city's intelligence network and plans on feeding them false information while extracting all they can on their own. While these plans were being put into place there were some incidents. Max Rose was only able to shake a series of guard escorts, who were supposedly guiding him to an orphanage due to his status as a child, through the intervention of Damascus and Sliver who killed the guard. The guards armor would later be used by the party as evidence of rebel activity in the area to legitimize Waelin as a reliable source. They dispatched the guards on the dock floor, and they moved their way up to the next floor. Morgan and Damascus made their way up to the top floor under a disguise and invisibility. Session 17 Update:
The party finally teleported their way to Telesaia by acquiring a box from the city of dragons. They appeared in the middle of the night, and promptly found an inn being tended to by a yuan-ti barkeep. The party was pointed towards a job board to help gain fame within the town, and they decided to go after hill giant triplets terrorizing the northern mountains. The party teleported their way there and tracked down the bandits and ambushed them. They used a bandit they captured to both track and distract them for the ambush. Upon teleporting back to Telesaia proper with the head of the three giants Zhen turned them in for the bounty as the rest of the party talked to a random wanderer. The party then decided to pursue another bounty. A collector named Drayidus the Sleepy is sending the party after an artifact known as the Silver Necklace. The party managed to successfully defeat the earthen governor and her forces, and the entire mining system of the east has been throw into disarray due to the disappearance of the earth elemental presence. With the portals destroyed drawing support and labor from the Plane of Elemental Earth has been made exponentially more difficult. The party fled from the deteriorating complex as the portals collapsed, and they managed to move out of the area unscathed. On the way to the southern camp the partied was ambushed with a dream. The party was summoned into a black plane with a single point of light in the center coming off of a black diamond. Damascus was able to identify the object as the Unseelie artifact the Black Diamond. Essene deciphered that there was some Sylvan writings referencing different fey races. Morgan's true form was also finally revealed to the party, and Sliver questioned them on this point. As the diamond was examined and Morgan was questioned the party heard a feminine voice address them. Essene recalled the symbol as the mark of the Searchers of Sardior, a group concerned with reconstituting the Ruby Gem Dragon god who fought against the corruption of the Far Realm. The party eventually made it to camp where they were debriefed and picked the next place they wanted make a difference. Drayidus explained that he would reward them with either information or money in exchange for retrieval. The party began their journey to Flumencrucis with the help of a new companion, Uula. This half-orc made some tasty food for the party throughout the journey. Morgan mysteriously floated into the air in the middle of the night, and the party was stalked by two big cats on their way to the city. The big cats turned out to be precursors to an attack by lycanthrope bounty hunters which the party defeated handily.
Session 20 Update:
The party finished battling the rogue security within Drayidus's home. Upon investigation of the necklace the party determined that is is a shard of Sardior, the ruby progenitor of gem dragons who had been shattered across the world. The party attempted to persuade Drayidus to allow them to keep the Silver Necklace, but as negotiations began to sour the party decided to steal the item. In a flurry of spells the party teleported away from Drayidus and Telesaia to Ellila's hometown. The party now rests here, and overnight the party was informed of numerous problems and ways forward. Jack's sword Hunger grew in power, but it also informed Jack that the burst in power had attracted individuals hunting for the sword. Ellila informed the party that her god had also identified undead within the town. After some investigations the party found a murder scene where the victims had bites taken out of their necks, the mark of a vampiric presence. The party visited a witch to help combat these vampires, and some made trades for potions and equipment to fend off the vampires. Finally, Siwong informed the party that she knew of several powerful, dark items that could be used to destroy a dragon. The party opted out of this deal, and the security forces of the vault promptly attacked the party. The party destroyed the first set of ruby golems and entered a darkened room full of water. Once the party shared their information with each other they decided to investigate a suspicious warehouse that was under Essene's jurisdiction. Morgan was able to infiltrate the goblinoids that were manning the inside of the warehouse, and eventually he was invited to meet with their boss at the end of the day. He went with them, and he was hired to help insure a later transaction would go smoothly. The rest of the party decided to look into Badan Sitsk, the hadozee druid in charge of land management in the Lost Falls. They raided his home without disturbing his daughter, and they stole and cracked the safe that was within his study. Inside of the safe they found birth certificates, a marriage certificate, a death certificate of his wife, his wife's rings, and a notebook filled with theoretical ways to destroy the cities and agriculture of surrounding civilizations and returning them to their natural state. The party trapped his house and waited to ambush him, and they were able to promptly kill him as he opened up the door. The party attempted to teleport from room to room, but the helm of teleportation botched the transportation and spliced some party members during teleportation. After obtaining the Book of Vile Darkness the party decided to move on information they learned inside of the vault. Torok found information linked to a temple that held the Azure Horn, a magical warhammer made of a sapphire dragon. The party teleported to the temple, and they were immediately caught in a fight between a contingent of solar dragonborn and the anti-extraplanar group called the Mindhunters. The party decided to side with the Mindhunters, and together they killed or captured the solar dragonborn. In exchange for ridding the area of the solar dragon the Mindhunters offered to help Torok and Zhen with their amnesia. The captured dragonborn informed the party that a solar dragon was nearby seeking the hammer, and the party sought them out. Zhen had a quick conversation with the farmer-disguised dragon and learned that they were after the hammer to rid himself of a aberrant infestation.
