A shaman falls to Evelyn's arrows as Szazzul is freed and a wall of fire engulfs the crowd.
(Ok, so the wording of the wall says that one side is subject to the damage while the other is safe. I'm going to assume Solomon won't incinerate his own side, so let's see some crispy critters!)
Leader: 6
3 Champions: 10, 8, 10
3 trolls: 15, 14, 2 (random roll, they were scattered, but apparently in just the right place)
15 gnolls: 12, 6, 9, 16, 3, 17, 19, 20, 11, 15, 5, 21, 11, 12, 14 (again, must be just scattered all along one half)
Among the casualties, every single gnoll was incinerated, half the lizardmen are dead, a troll died while the others are burned and can't regenerate until their next turn, and a shaman was also killed...(O.O)
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
The lizardman king begins to bark orders at the ones remaining to move away and around the wall. Due to the swampy ground and mass of bodies, the going is very slow and he only manages to reach one end of the wall.
Eager for death to his enemies, Szazzul beats his wings and flies over the party. As the Great Shadow passes overhead, he unleashes a stream of acid on those below hitting (4, 3, 6) Evelyn, Elon, and the prisoners. The targets ned a DEX save DC 18, or they take 60 acid damage (half on success).
Prisoner (1): 19. The prisoner expertly tumbles out of the way, putting her shield between the acid and her. However, the spray is too much and splashes her all the same.
(Using a bit of god-modding here, but I'm assuming those that moved out of the insect swarm so far moved in a way that allowed your wall to hit at least half of the horde. The prisoners are the hardest to predict due to their numbers, but they haven't had a chance to move out of the swarm yet. Otherwise, the fire has only been active for the King and Szazzul so far. Once wr get the saves for Szazzul's breath, I'll roll the prisoners as well.)

(They really did beef up Wall of Fire since it's original incarnation. It use to be simply "Here's fire. It's in a line. Don't touch or you get some nasty burns". Basically just a deterrent since someone could still cross with some damage done. Now, you can shape it however you like, the damage affects anyone entering or ending turns within 10' of the wall, not just on contact, and you actually pick a side to affect, so a wall can be sprung up inches from your toes and leave you completely unscathed (good if you're cornered).)

Doesn't matter if she makes her Dex, Evelyn is unconscious either way. Was hoping to avoid being caught in a line.
Sorry, I figured that even if it's a natural weapon, a strafing dragon is probably just sweeping the area, so it came down to a random roll.

The prisoners, with pilfered lizardmen weapons and shields, rush to the eastern side of the ring (where you came from). Though ragged, they form a makeshift shield wall to better defend against incoming attacks.
Attacks: 14, 21, 6, 7, 17, 15, 9, 14. They land 3 solid hits against lizardmen for 14 damage and their cooperative defense raises their AC to 14.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I just realized I had been waiting a few hours for a post about the last of the enemies...)
The lizardmen behind Solomon's wall move with their leader, but suffer the same, boggy results. Those on the party's side try to retaliate against the prisoners' wall of spears:
Attacks: 5 and 14, 13 and 17, 12 and 6, 18 and 22, 12 and 12,
4 attacks land for a total of (6, 4, 8, 5) 19 damage.
2 of the shaman near the prisoner's shield wall attempt to disrupt them with overlapping Entangle and Spike Growth for those that aren't held. STR save: 21, 5, 16, 21, 12, 13, 5. 4 of the 7 remaining prisoners are Restrained until they break free. The rest are subject to spike growth if they move within the area.

I'll allow it since it was specified as Szazzul's next attack.
Crispy's up. At this point, you are basically picking targets to finish off.

@Barlow, I think they meant how would I be able to use it when I'm in the portal.
This is what it says: Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your wit to distract, confuse, and otherwise sap the confidence and competence of others. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature’s roll. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll or ability check succeeds or fails, or before the creature deals its damage. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you or if it’s immune to being charmed.
from my interpretation, since I can see Szazzul through the portal I'd be able to do this as long as he is in range.
