Watching Hutton effortlessly grasp the halfing in his meaty paws, Brack strides into the room confidentially to press their advantage. Rolling up his sleeves, Brack squints one eye and uses the other to stare down Hookshanks as he comes into view. His insults follow shortly thereafter with added gusto in his voice.
"Not so confident now are we, yeh craven fen-sucked measle! A lot 'arder picking on someone's who can fight back over those kiddos yeh been tormenting, eh?"

Hookshanks shuddered in Hutton's grasp as Brack's magic took hold once again. "Quit it already wit your babblin'!" Hookshanks called afterwards, though much less demonstratively than before.
Meanwhile below the Old Fishery, the creature that had been lurking there for months since Gaedren's gang began squatting there - a young Jigsaw Shark - made a beeline for the flailing Yargin. "No... Stay bac-" Yargin began before the shark was upon him and it became rather difficult for him to say much more. The confrontation didn't last long, and within moments, Yargin's body was nowhere to be found, replaced instead with slowly growing circle of of blood.

Redii began to Mazour as she pulled out a rope and began tying it around herself. "We still need him to get Gaedren right?"...
Redii, who had been watching the scene below with Mazour, looked at the elf for a long moment before beginning to untie the rope from around her waist. "Nevermind..." she said simply.

Mazour turned to look at Redii as they saw the red cloud of blood in the water. For a brief moment they looked at each other with a puzzled and shocked expression. "Right then... time for plan B," he said flatly as he shrugged.
A quick glance back the way he came showed him it was too far. Turning back he looked to the doorway by the hole. Well, here goes everything. Opening the door, he jumps into the room. Sparing a quick glance about the room, he darts to the far door. Violently swinging the door open, he stops to see Hookshanks completely engulfed by the angry mountain that was Hutton. Oh myyy...A slow smile spread across his face as he looked into the halfling's eyes.
"Hello there," his voice soft, slow and breathy. As he continued the softness left his words and he draws his dagger etched with the symbol of his Goddess. The Lady of Graves. "Yargin is dead. I suppose it's true that sharks will eat anything. So either you start answering questions, or my large friend here will start removing body parts. One for each child you have hurt, one for each life ruined. Maybe seeing your shanks on hooks will help you see the error of your ways? Tell. Us. Everything."

Hookshanks stared at Maz for a couple long moments before replying "F*ck that!" Twisting around in Hutton's grasp to generate a bit of momentum, the gnome reared back and again tried impale his knives into the body of the massive man holding him in place. His first knife skidded off Hutton's armor, while the second managed to reach his skin but not draw blood. "F*ucking Sh*t. Are ya a golem or somethin'?!?"

"I'm getting pretty tired of your mouth, imp. You'll be telling us what we need to know one way or another. I've tried the peaceable route but your little club of cretins has got me falling off the wagon, so to speak, and I'm not ok with that."
Hutton shifts his grip to keep one hand on the halfling's shoulder but gives it a firm squeeze to make sure he knows he isn't free just yet. With his other meathook, he pulls back and slams it into the little man's diaphragm in an attempt to incapacitate or knock him out.
"Oh no, stay with me sweetness. I'm not done with you... yet." With an almost dismissive gesture, the reliquary around Mazour's wrist glowed with a deep purple light that wrapped around the body of Hookshanks. Kneeling down he check the halfling to be sure he was alive.
"Redii's got a point. Yargin was shouting for Gaedrun and running to the boat. He should be fine enough to wait for later." Mazour looked to the others with grim resolve. "Let's see if we can finish this in time for drinks, eh?"

The party watched as the purple light surrounding the gnome was absorbed into Hookshanks’ body, causing him to glow momentarily. When Mazour went to check on him a moment later, he could feel a faint heartbeat pulsing within Hookshanks’ body. For the time being at least, Hookshanks was still alive.
"Redii's got a point. Yargin was shouting for Gaedrun and running to the boat. He should be fine enough to wait for later." Mazour looked to the others with grim resolve. "Let's see if we can finish this in time for drinks, eh?"
“Nothing would give me more pleasure than to finish this once and for all.” Redii replied. Turning to the remaining children, she added, “Wait here a little longer. We’ll be back in a flash and then we can find a better spot than here for you to stay.” Turning back to the others, she pointed to Hookshanks and added, “What do we do about him? Throw him to our shark friend as a dessert?”
Brack let's out a gruff snort, "Are yeh always so quick to get yeh 'ands bloodied Miss Rabbit? Am I a fool to believe this lot,"Brack waves his hands about the crew and continues in a scolding tone, "...wouldn't sink to their level, given t'chance?"
He pauses to let the others contemplate his words, then continues, "T'battle's done for 'ookshanks, and we didn't just come 'ere to pass judgement for 'im, eh?"He looks in the direction of the Kraken's Folly, his fists clenching. "I say we bind 'im for now, then finish our business on t'ship."
Looking to Mazour, Brack gives a clever grin, "Shame about t'sharks, but maybe Yargin can still help us..."he reaches up to his collar and begins to rub his thick, dwarven digits between the fleece of his hood. As he does so, noise begins to spring from the corner of the room [Minor Illusion]
(Sounds of splashing, then that of slapping hands on wood, followed by a meek voice in the sound of Yargin) "Gaedren!" (Sputtering) "Please come quick!"
"That... is a good trick Brack. And it may just work. I have some rope. Let's bind him for now. and get into position." With an impressed look over to the dwarf, Mazour fumbles with the ropes in a spectacularly slapdash binding. Looking over his work, he shrugged and stood up to get into position.
"I spared him for now, so he can have mortal judgement, Brak. When they are done, the Lady of Graves will do as she deems. We should move. If Gaedrun's close, we don't want to miss him. "
Mazour moves to the door closest to ship Yargin was moving toward.

Redii raised an eyebrow in response to Brack's barb. "We all came here to stop - but let's be honest, to kill - Gaedren, and I consider his top accomplices just as complicit as he is. I don't see why we have to spare one after we've already taken out two of them... mostly." Pausing to scratch at her forearms again, she sighed and added, "But, if you really want to keep him alive, I won't stop you. He'll get what he deserves one way or another I'm sure of it."

Redii looked over as Mazour attempted to bind the unconscious Hookshanks. Way too loose to be of much use, Redii sighed inwardly before stepping over to assist. "Not very used to tying people up huh?" Redii began jokingly. "It's a pretty knot, but it's easy to break free if you just pull here..." she added before unraveling the binding in one easy motion. "Next time, try it like this..." Taking a minute to redo the binding - a little more tightly than was necessary, but than again the foul-mouthed gnome deserved it in her point of view - she stepped back with and said "Voila! That should keep him nice and bound till we get back."
"And no idea if your plan will work Brack, but I'm down to give it a shot and see what happens." she then turned to Hutton before adding, "I meant what I said about the boardwalk. I think you'll fall right through with all that armor on if you stand in place out there. You may want to wait in Yargin's office until we move toward the boat... And then you should move quickly..."
"Oh, now that is certainly useful to know. I bet it has all sorts of... uses," Mazour delicately places his fingers on his chest as he looks on and nods. "Well, truth be told, the only times I've done it were under... different circumstances. I'll certainly remember that one though."
With that, Mazour moved into position and waited for the others to move.
Brack gives a quick nod, "Sounds like a plan. When yeh 'ave all got into position around t'vessel, I'll let loose and see if we can draw 'im out, eh?"
The dwarf quickly begins to make his way out to the boat. Stepping into the threshold between the offices and the dock, the dwarf looks down at the decrepit planks and shoddy craftsmanship holding the wood fast against its supports. He let's out an audible gulp as his entire body begins to tense up. Slowly, ever so carefully, the dwarf begins to inch his way out onto the raised platform. Keeping his back against the wall, he begins to scuttle down the way. Though his eyes were near closed, he holds his gaze upwards with some sort of disdain towards whatever lay beneath him.
As he reaches the corner of the fishery, he darts quickly to the pylon on the other side of the dock. Gripping the wooden cylinder with white knuckles flaring in the evening's light, he looks to the rest of the crew with a pale, almost sickly gaze and gives another quick nod.
Mazour moves into position along the catwalk by the first window on the right by the stairs leading down. He's not peeking down yet, despite being infinitely curious.
"Coast seems clear..." Redii whispered to the others as after deftly moving across the shoddy dock to end up behind the others. "Ready when you are..." She had one of her sai out, ready to jump into action should Gaedren - or anything else for that matter - made an appearance.
