Tully responds still with a southern accent, "As you can see your honor, this man is completely unhinged and is now speaking pure none sense. Please do the merciful thing and put this man out of his misery. You know what the right thing to do here is."

"Very well. Who shall be the executioner?"
Before you have a chance to respond, a hyena lunges at you, and you notice there are gnolls among them!
You have entered combat
Because none of you noticed the hyenas and questioned why they were at a trial, you all get -5 to initiative. I rolled, you all are after the monsters. There are five gnolls, one clearly in charge, and one large hyena. You can back away, but remember if you were melee attacked or targeted an enemy with a melee attack you will be the target of an oppurtunity attack.
Giant hyena: 6 to hit, it is biting Brakoba and on a hit it would do 8 damage
Gnoll 1: 14 to hit, it is biting Kit and on a hit it would do 6 damage
Gnoll 2: 20 to hit, it is biting Tully and on a hit it would do 3 damage
Gnoll 3: 12 to hit, it is stabbing Grogan and on a hit it would do 5 damage
Gnoll 4: 7 to hit, it is shooting (ranged attack) Jennlin and on a hit it would do 3 damage
Gnoll 5 (leader): Stabs Druman (Grogan's beastmaster companion) for 25 to hit and 10 damage, Stabs Brakoba for 24 to hit and 8 damage, and shouts at the hyena, who bites Tully for 11 to hit and 12 damage on a hit.
It is your turn now. Remember that ranged attacks are not easy to do in this situation(only Bully and Jennlin can ranged attack without disadvantage or getting opportunity attacked).
"Ow! Who invited them!?" Jennlin scowls at the intruders and fires back at the one that shot her.
Crossbow: 19 to hit, 7 piercing damage
Using special ability: Shadow Arrow
Target must succeed a DC 11 WIS save or be unable to see anything further than 5 ft away until Jennlin's next turn. They also take 10 psychic damage regardless.
Tully dodges the first bit from the gnoll with panache and class but was not prepared for the creature to single him out as a threat. As the other bits rip off some of his flesh, Tully's emerald studded blade begins to glow and green light pours out of it like oil before shooting towards the Gnoll who dared speak out against him gripping onto him like oil. Pulling out his blade he will shoot out a light spray of color.
Tully will cast hexblades curse as a bonus action on the head leader Gnoll and cast faire fire as an action DC dex 13 for all Gnolls grouped around the leader in a 20ft radius.
"This village is getting more. and more exciting by the day !".The attack of the hyena, although blocked by the shield, enrages Brak "Ahhhhhhhrrrrgggg".(bonus action: Wild Surge Rage :1).I am not a dog person. Here's your leash !". Several shadowy dendrils explose from the chest of Brak aiming at all ennemies within 30ft - including the Dwarf - (DC13 CON or 1 pt necrotic damage)
Brak holds his warpick high and swing heavily at the monster. Attack:18, damage piercing 13 He also keep an eye on the dwarf (reaction: attack of opportunity if he tries to move away from Brak)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leif casts phantasmal force on the gnoll who dares attack Tully. INT DC 13 Tully's shadow frees itself from Tully and begins attacking the gnoll. As a bonus action Leif telepathically directs Bully to attack Kit's attacker
Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack:25 to hit, range 40/160 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1 minute. If its saving throw result is 5 or lower, the poisoned target falls unconscious for the same duration, or until it takes damage or another creature takes an action to shake it awake.
Bully's attack would have been with advantage as Bully is invisible unless specifically stated. 8

That hits, but the gnoll succeeds on the wisdom save.
The gnoll shoots you back for 18 to hit and 8 damage on a hit.

The hyena fails against the faire fire, but the gnolls (who I rolled for as a group except the leader) and the leader gnoll all succeed.
The leader swings his glaive at you: 16 to hit and 10 damage on a hit.

Brak holds his warpick high and swing heavily at the monster. Attack:18, damage piercing 13 He also keep an eye on the dwarf (reaction: attack of opportunity if he tries to move away from Brak)
The wild surge hits several of the enemies. The "monster" who last hit you was the leader, and your warpick smashes with a dull thud against his helmet.
He responds with an attack with his glaive: 11 to hit and 5 damage on a hit.
Go ahead and make that oppurtunity attack. The dwarf has a speed of about 10 feet right now, as his feet are loosely tied. He is running away from the combat in the direction opposite the spectators, and fumbling with something in his hand.
Leif casts phantasmal force on the gnoll who dares attack Tully. INT DC 13 Tully's shadow frees itself from Tully and begins attacking the gnoll. As a bonus action Leif telepathically directs Bully to attack Kit's attacker
Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack:10 to hit, range 40/160 ft., one target.
The gnoll, who clearly is not particularly bright, fails the saving throw and takes 5 psychic damage from the shadow, then swings at Leif's shadow, believing it missed because it did no observable damage and nothing stopped its spear. Bully's bow hits the target, and the saving throw fails, but not by enough to knock him unconscious.
The hyena bites towards the air where an arrow appeared out of. Because it has a general idea of where Bully is, it can attack him, but the invisibility causes disadvantage.
6 to hit and 6 damage on a hit, and also if Bully takes damage he might need to make a saving throw for the invisibility concentration.
Jennlin deftly dodges the incoming fire and attempts to retaliate against the ranged opponent:
11 to hit, 8 piercing
Action surge (if the initial target is still up)
11 to hit, 10 piercing
If the dwarf is within 60 ft of Jennlin still (preferably within 30) she will move toward him and then as a bonus action use her Blessing of the Raven Queen to teleport in front of him.
If he's too far away that's fine just ignore that. She also won't run by anyone that provokes opportunity attacks (not sure where exactly everyone is).
Tully responds still with a southern accent, "As you can see your honor, this man is completely unhinged and is now speaking pure none sense. Please do the merciful thing and put this man out of his misery. You know what the right thing to do here is."

(Kit casts Sleep, centered on herself. The effect result is only 10 HP, which probably isn't enough to bring down any of the gnolls in range)
Assuming they were by each other, Grogan will mount Druman and command Druman to bite the knoll.
Attack: 19 Damage: 4 piercing damage
DC 11 strength saving throw or be knocked prone
"Ow! Who invited them!?" Jennlin scowls at the intruders and fires back at the one that shot her.
Crossbow: 19 to hit, 7 piercing damage
Using special ability: Shadow Arrow

Biting at the knoll leader that attacked Druman

Keep in mind willing mounts cannot attack. You could get on after the attack, but then Druman cannot attack next turn.
Got it
Still will try to knock it prone for the others to hit
[If the Gnolls fail the Dex save we have advantage on all attacks on them]

That hits, but he manages to stay standing, and a gnoll targets Druman:
17 to hit and 9 damage on a hit

It does not hit any of the enemies, and a gnoll bits you: 22 to hit and 4 damage.
Gill and the spectators are all either Dashing or Disengaging and moving away from the skirmish.
May I please have some kind of description of where Kit is relative to the other players & NPCs so I can evaluate my available options?
I'm hit (50% due to rage): HP 33/35
Reaction (AoO): hit 21, piecing 11 (including rage)
Perception to see what the dwarf has in his hands: 13

Grogan will swing his shortsword at the knoll going for Druman from atop the mastiff after marking the creature (bonus action Hunter's Mark):
Attack: 18 Damage: 6 piercing plus 2
This should have advantage with farie fire
I thought the only one who failed the save was the hyena?
