I’d like to try a tier 4 encounter before we move on. My character is a firbolg war cleric named dalthrun. I’ve spend my 8500 gold on 13 potions if superior healing, +2 armor, weapon, and shield, and the cloak and ring of protection.
Since we are wrapping up Tier 4 right now and taking a short break before Tier 5, I wanted to invite people to make suggestions or recommendations on how to improve this mini-campaign. I was thinking, we could have two players join forces to tackle a foe, we could try rolled stats, maybe a max array of all 18's, multiple monsters, henchmen, firearms, etc. I'm up for anything that might be fun to try.
Have you considered using a VTT, like Owlbear Rodeo? It would help with keeping track of where people are, and it would also help implement any environmental hazards/objectives that you may or may not want to use. I'm not exactly sure how you would handle multiple rooms at once, but I'm sure it's possible.
Actually, with the new 2.0 and infinite maps an easy alternative to having a bunch of rooms would be to have one room with all the maps in it. Then, if we go that route, we would just manipulate the subsection with our character&enemy on it. (Though that does add possible duplication-efforts and I'm not sure there's an easy way to duplicate sections that are more than one map-piece big.)

How does that math work out? The armor alone would only leave you with 1000 gp.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

Oh whoops, I read that as 600 and not 6000. Oops. Time to redo maths.

With the cohorts, I gotta admit I've got a silly idea in my head. It goes as follows. A mount needs to be at least one size larger than you. Some of the player races are small and some are medium. This means a halfling, for example, could ride a centaur as a mount. (Sillier, PC centaurs are medium size while NPC centaurs are large size. Which leads to the idea of a centaur riding a centaur. But that's an aside.) The Mounted Combatant feat allows you to force attacks on your mount to be attacks on you. So I just imagine a raging barbarian gnome riding on the shoulders of a medium-sized wizard into combat, taking the damage the wizard would suffer, and making it easier for the wizard to be in range on various spells.
.........
Anyone interested in possibly doing a duo against the Earth Elemental Myrmidon?
After returning to the wardens, Eladan decides to continue on and get to the bottom of what the wizard is up to. He rest for the night, does some shopping (Studded Leather +2, Shield +1, Vicious Club, Ioun Stone of Fortitude, Ioun Stone of Insight, Cloak of Protection, 2 superior healing potions) and sets off back for the keep. He returns to the portal, activates it and steps through, finding himself in a strange land. (Earth Elemenatal Myrmidon)
and then use my hidden step as a bonus action: As a bonus action, turn invisible until the start of your next turn, you attack, deal damage, or farce a saving throw, once per short rest.
