Erbert turns and looks to the north, sees a goblin archer across the stream (Perception : 19) and he runs to the north 25 ft. The floating ember comes along behind him. In his haste, he fires off a bolt of fire but it goes wide of the goblin, burning the ground beside him.
"AZZAROIL GOES HUNGRY TODAY! HIS SERVANT CRADDOCK FLEES YET AGAIN!"
The 7HP from Chadwick's last heal are not updated on my sheet. Should that be happening automatically or should I be adjusting? Seems like everything went through when he performed lay hands earlier.

Same with Hoid and second wind . As an aside, I’m surprised there isn’t a built in roll for that considering usage is tracked on the character sheet.
Kragen surveys his surrounding seeking other compatriots who are in need. Finding all upright and in reasonable condition given the circumstances, turns to Hoid and Gnueman.”thank you my friends, Tyr shines upon your prowess and valor in combat!”, “Hoid, are you well, can I see to any wounds?”, “Rest here my friend, while I scout southwest to ensure this vermin has fled like the cowards they are.”, “Gnueman, May I suggest you scout southeast to ensure the area and is clear of bandits?”
Kragen moves southwest cautiously scanning and searching areas which might provide cover. He has shouldered his Hammer and readies his crossbow.
Erbert’s Fire Bolt flies wide of the target, but briefly illuminates it. Trolkarl takes advantage of this and his Eldritch Blast aims true. The goblin falls to the ground lifeless.
Kragen moves to the SW of his position and a goblin archer comes into view. He fires his crossbow at this enemy, BULLSEYE! The goblin goes down with a bolt in the eye. To hit = 22 (nat 20), Damage = 5.
The remaining goblin and bandit flee into the night.
All goes quiet as the goblins and bandits flee back into the night. From the south, you hear the distant sound of a horse whinny and the hoofbeats of a galloping horse leading away from you. A quick survey of the area shows no more hostiles around the camp. The first light of dawn can be seen over the mountains to the east. The oxen begin to stir and seem ready to be fed and watered. A new day has arrived and you all made it there...
Hoid will investigate all of the corpses, move them away from the camp, and collect their weapons as salvage. (If there is one thing I’ve learned playing video games, it is collecting equipment and selling to vendors at low level.)
The corpses are scattered all around the camp. Once the sun is up you move to collect them some distance from your camp. You find 7 dead goblins and two dead humans. One of the bandits that tried to flee you find dead a short distance from camp. The goblins all have their teeth filed into points like the ones in the sewers of Luskan. Searching the bodies, you come up with:
78cp, 57sp
6 scimitars, nasty bits and pieces of leather armor, 6 crude shields, 7 daggers, 1 short bow, arrows - All in terrible shape other than the short bow and arrows.
2 hand axes, 2 daggers, 2 red cloaks, 2 suits of leather armor that are worn, but still useful.
We should take the red cloaks with us in case there is some sort of bounty for taking them out. We could take the heads, but that seems a bit gruesome.
I think we should take the weapons because a smith might take even the crappy items as raw material. Hoid might use the shortbow until he can get a longbow. I’m skeptical that the armor will be of any value.
Kragen recommends to the group that we gather the bodies and burn them, disposing of the vile creatures for good. If there are no protests, he begins to gather them away from the cart path.
At the site of the dead horses, blood, and dwarves items, we moved on quickly to fulfill our contract. If we had no urgency to investigate or bury those victims, I see no urgency for incinerating these demon worshipers.
If the bodies are still here on our route back, we can give this the same attention as the other scene.

Fire bolt : 7 to hit, for 1 point of fire damage.
“They are getting away! Quick, give chase so that they can’t reform and attack us again!”
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Move: 30' North
Action: Eldritch Blast on #7
to hit: 23, damage:10

(( Healing added. Sorry. ))

You can easily pack any of the equipment you want to take with you on the wagon. What do you want to do with the bodies?
Kragen notices that two carrion birds have already arrived and are circling overhead.
Line them up off the side of the road and put up a sign that says this is what happens to bandits and thieves.

No disagreement, but it is likely better treatment than they deserve.
You have about a day of travel to get to Shalecliff. There are trees around you can cut to build a pyre. That’s going to take a while.
Can Hoid recondition, with access to proper equipment, the scimitars and daggers that are in poor condition?
My concern is of we wait too long CradDick might be able to rally more troops, without a long rest we will be vulnerable.
Perhaps we continue on, then on way back burn them? Or maybe let the local constable know if they want to take action?
The birds need food, too.

That seems like weeks ago.
The weapons are made of junk iron. Needs resmelted to have a chance to be useful.
