OOC: I'm not at all opposed to the idea of 'Inspiration' etc. in any form but I am opposed to things like that being handed out that in one form or another they should be truly earned be that by RP, Creatvity, or doing something out of the ordinary but not so there has to be a reason other than, that character is the only one without, etc. which to be honest bothers me a bit. To each their own which I have no trouble with and they can do what they want but for me, nah, I'd rather earn something.
"Well done, friends." says Drako as the ooze falls, chucklikng as Nigel rushes to look at it. While Nigel investigates he will see if anything looks out of place in this old temple. Either that he can understand or that he could point Nigel towards.
The temple is smoothly hewn from solid rock. The following features are common throughout:
Ceilings. Ceilings throughout are 10 feet high and flat.
Doors. All doors are made of carved stone with stone pins for hinges. Secret doors blend in with the surrounding stonework. Finding a secret door requires a search of the wall and a successful DC 15 Wisdom (Perception) check. [ I will allow Investigation checks, too. ]
Dust and Debris. The temple is choked with dusty rubble. Rubble-filled squares are difficult terrain (see the Basic Rules).
Light. There are no light sources in the temple.
[ There will not be any unspent Inspiration outside of combat. ]
Nigel: You try to inspect the Ochre Jelly, but just like the first one, it evaporates almost instantly after being defeated. Whatever semblance of a life force it had, it no longer tethers it to the material plane.
Drako: Apart from the bloodstained limestone altar, you and the rest of the party will find the other secret doors (S symbols on the map). The secret door in the pillar conceals a cavity packed with dwarf skulls that tumble out when the door is opened. At the bottom of the cavity is an unlocked stone coffer containing 15 gemstones worth 10 gp each.
Current State of the Map:
Everyone: Let me know how you want to proceed through the secret doors. There might be more Ochre Jellies through any of them.
[ The south door has already been explored through. ]
Drako looks at the dwarven skulls and ponders them in somber silence before saying, "Looks like the victims of sacrifice. Abba's horde." He eyes the fifteen gems and thinks to himself, What a pathetic horde for a god of greed. He walks to door directly North and takes a feel of the handle, trying to see if it's locked or unlocked, wondering perhaps some thaumaturgy might help them to avoid any surprises. Same for the other nearby door. "I've no preference on which door to go through next. But if the passage to the South is an indication, I'd assume the Northern door and perhaps that other one," he gestures to the Southeast door, "are the ones to main halls. With the Northeast door being another secret passage."
Each secret door opens when the right stone is pressed, just like the first one Willow found. They would be considered locked for the purposes of Thaumaturgy. And pressing the stone opens the path immediately to the northern corridor.
"Since we most likely explore them all let's just take them in order." says Nigel as he points first to the door next to the open one on the south wall. He then continues counter clock wise around the room by pointing to the next one in the northeast corner and then the north one.
"But in truth it matters not. Simply pick a door Drako and we will follow you through it."
Drako nods in response to Nigel, "Very well." Turning to Rix he adds, "Let's be ready to roll any further beasts." He'll open the Northern door, taking a look for any hidden oozes.
Willow, still reverberating from the pulse of the battle, observes Nigel's fascination with the remains of the Ochre Jelly, her own curiosity piqued albeit tempered by caution. She steps closer to Drako and Nigel, her healer's instincts subtly shifting her focus towards the welfare of her companions.
"As the Ochre Jellies have shown us," Willow begins, her voice carrying a soft but earnest tone, "each corner of this temple holds both history and hazard."She glances towards the array of secret doors around them, her pale eyes reflecting a blend of awe and apprehension. "I'm grateful for the light you all bring into these shadowed halls, both literally and in spirit."
Her gaze then shifts to the skulls and gemstones that Drako has uncovered. "Such grim tokens of the past,"she murmurs. "They remind us of the transient nature of wealth and the enduring cost of greed. Let us tread carefully, for the stones here are steeped in stories that demand our respect."
Willow steps towards the northern door that Drako is set to open, her slender hands clasped before her as if in quiet prayer. "I support Drako's choice," she says, nodding towards the northern passage. "Let us proceed with unity and caution, aware of what may lie beyond yet undeterred in our resolve to face it."
As Drako prepares to open the door, Willow turns to Rix and the others, her expression composed yet resolute. "Should we encounter more adversaries, know that my magic and my dedication remain at our fellowship's service. Together, we shall illuminate these darkened paths and honor the lessons they hold."
Her final words linger in the cool air of the temple, a silent vow to safeguard her companions and to bring healing where it is most needed, reinforcing her role as the gentle yet steadfast heart of their adventurous band.

Light. There are no light sources in the temple.
As the group ventures down the narrow northern corridor hidden within the temple of Abbathor, the Great Master of Greed, their footsteps echo softly against the cold stone walls.
Vabrix, towering over the others, takes the lead, holding out his Quarterstaff to illuminate the path ahead with Light.
Magnus brings up the rear, his steps light and sure as he navigates the uneven floor with ease. His keen eyes sweep the surroundings, taking in the intricate details of the temple's architecture with a sense of reverence.
As the group reaches the end of the corridor, Vabrix pushes a heavy door open that leads to the inside of the Priest's Bedchamber. Three stone bed frames stand against the east wall. The air is heavy with the scent of dust and decay, and a sense of foreboding hangs thick in the air.
Drako's sharp eyes catch sight of something amiss—a trail of slimy residue snaking along the floor, leading towards another hidden door to the south.
There is no treasure within this room. How would you all like to proceed?
"Ready yourselves," Drako says. "I'm betting whatever ooze there is is right behind that door." He puts his shield in front of him as he opens the door.

Willow once more calls forth Sacred Flame, as radiant energy begins to rain down on the remaining ochre jelly.
OOC: Rolled a possible 6 Damage on character sheet, Attack/Save: DEX 13
With an 8 on it's dex save, the Ochre Jelly just barely survives the barrage of petals! The next hit will surely be the finishing blow!
Herb will cling to Drako and provide the Help action for Drako, distracting the Jelly while Drako attacks.
Currently DMing:
Drako smiles as Herb clings to him. "Let's do this!" He steps up 1 square N and strikes with his flail.
To-Hit: max(20,7) + 5 = nat-20

As the last Jelly loses its rigidity Nigel rushes forward.
"Vabrix! Bring me the light, quickly please! I must have a better look before it dissipates."
Nigel draws a dagger and pokes at the dead puddle of goo.
