Skyelooks around at Kylaski's comments, despite herself. "Fine. Fine! Trust. We all trust each other now apparently. Lovely. I trust,Kylaski, that yourself and your secret friend will be happy to go in first."
"I say we don't go in talking, we'll lose the element of surprise and they won't tell us anything that incriminates them. We go in with our fiercest spells already half out of our mouths. We go in as rightful vengeance, and once they've felt the long shock of our magic, those who live we tie up and question."
Skye glowers at nothing. "They need a firm hand, or you're just setting yourself up for a dagger in the back."
Xaul nods at Skye's remarks, mainly keeping quiet and letting others do the talking. He gestures to the warehouse and says to Kylaski 'Go ahead, we'll follow behind'
Kylaski has no objections to taking the lead, now that she has backup. She moves up to the door, then says, "First let's make sure that they don't have any unpleasant surprises for us. I will look for magical traps, Sehaethashow may you look for mechanical traps."
The door is not trapped. But it is locked. Damros you hear noises coming from the room the other side of the door. It is strange, almost like imitations of regular common noises, and occasionally a word or two. But lots of different voices, sometimes in one sentence. Like if parrots were talking to each other, repeating things they have heard before almost.
There is three possible points of entry — the front door, a large warehouse loading door, and a painted-over window. All locked, none trapped.
Xaul is a little concerned by the noises coming from the warehouse, but brushes them off. He says 'I don't know about you lot, but I'm no lockpick. I reckon we should bust through that window and flush out whoever's in there nice and quick.' He then goes to the painted window attempts to smash it in with his quarterstaff, but severely messes up. Quarterstaff attack on the window: Nat 1 for a total of 4, 7 damage.
"How about one of us hits down this door, and the rest of us go through the window?" says Skye. "I reckon whoever knocks open the door should be ready for a 'no solicitors' approach, and step back into cover the moment they've got it a good way open though, Kylaski. Good luck."
Damros stops and pulls off his backpack. Secured within his bedroll; he pulls out a crowbar. "Perhaps this will work better at opening a window or popping a door open rather than injuring ourselves by slamming our bodies against the locked door?"
He looks about at the group, "Xaul and Skye in the window and myself and Kylaski through the front door?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Damros holds a single finger up in a 'wait' gesture. [Passive Perception: 14]
"My friends, I fear we have alerted those inside with our gentle tap tap tapping at the window. No birds we. It is time to boldly go where only fools dare to tread." So saying, Damros will set the crowbar into the door jamb and try to pop the door open.
Skye doesn't hear anything, and hopes Damros isn't being over dramatic. Still, she takes a step closer to the window and further from the door. Just in case.
She watches as Damros struggles with the crowbar.
"Maybe we knock or maybe we blast at this point," she says.
Eldritch Blast says it targets a creature within range. Can we target inanimate objects, I'm presuming not RAW, but what would you say, Swiftgale?
Xaul sighs and says 'Didn't think we'd struggle this much with gaining access, but looks like it's time for me to do what I do best.' He cracks his knuckles, walks up to the door, and for a second it looks like he's about to cast a spell, but he instead just starts slamming on the door yelling 'OI! LET US IN NOW OR I'LL DROWN YOU IN THE LAKE AND LEAVE YOUR BODY FOR THE KELPIES! I'M SERIOUS!' Intimidation: 17
Xaulgives a hearty laugh and says 'Always works! Who did we agree to go through first again? Wasn't it the newcomer? Sorry, my memory is just terrible!'
As Kylaski enters the room, Skye speaks in Auran, a fluting whistling language, and turns her ring once on her finger, casting Fog Cloud on a point centered just inside the opened door.
As the spell blooms, she whispers to Xual in a rush, “You’regoingtohave to toss me.”
He doesn’t have time to ask, and she doesn’t have time to say more as Skye has already popped a hidden compartment on the central ring on her fingers. She turns to mist and fog and is sucked into the ring, vanishing. The compartment closing behind her.
The chains, rings and bracelet jangle and tinkle as they hit the floor.
I am assuming Xaul does throw in Skye. I will resolve what happens following the answer to this question however. Where does Xaul go? Does he also enter behind Kylaski and Damros? Or stay outside?

Damros tries to not interfere with Kylaski's work at the door, however, he will do his own checks 'just to be on the safe side'.

Kylaski admits, "I don't have any way to get though a locked door. Well other than using Eldritch magic to slowly break through the door."

The quaterstaff hits against the window, making a noise that is enough to alert anyone inside that someone is there.

After a second, you hear a bolt get removed from the door, and then the door swings open. No one is visible at the door.

Damros slips up and stands beside the open doorway. With a slight bow and beckoning gesture toward Kylaski, he urges her to enter, "Madam, after you."
He hopes to slip in right behind her and peel off to right hand wall inside to get separation and angles (if necessary).
Kylaski smiles and enters into the room to see what's waiting inside.
