Once Minerva completes her sweep of the room, Glim regains his own senses, oblivious to the magical sign that has appeared on his back. "It looks like the coast is clear," he says, starting excitedly into the chamber himself. "But just in case..." he pulls out a bit of chalky powder from his belt pouch, and with a deliberate gesture and a brief arcane phrase, he rubs it on his forehead (casting see invisibility). "And, for good measure..." he waves his hands again and mutters something (detect magic), after which he makes his way into the room to look more closely at the dais.
Klong notices the sign as Glim bends over to look at the dais. "Klong hope we find the axe today. No need to kick can down road," he says, emphasizing the word, and keeping his face straight. "You agree witch lady?"
After casting detect magic, the first thing Glim senses is an aura of transmutation magic originating from just behind him. He spins around to look at it, only to find that it has spun around too and is once again behind him. He spins more quickly this time, but the same thing happens again. "What in the nine hells..." he says, spinning like a dog chasing his tail.
Carved on the stone circle is an effigy of a dwarf lying in state, clutching a greataxe to his breast. An inscription is carved in runes around the perimeter of the dais. The inscription reads identical to the one in the other room:
Kelvin rushes to the dais, eager to see the elusive treasure for himself. Despite his seemingly careless approach, Lucy keeps him abreast of any threats.

"Well, Klong, not to activate the memory of your recent trauma, but you clearly have the best chance of opening this thing. I can help, for what that's worth," Glim says. He will assist with the lifting if he can get a decent angle on it from his position near the ground.
Klong doesn't love the idea of another trap, but he is intelligent enough to see that he is best suited to the task. After Glim touches him with Guidance, he strains to lift the lid. He puts his massive power to use and attemps to lift the lid. His back and arm muscles look like bags of rocks held together with leather as he uses the full extent of his goliath physique.
Adrenaline still coursing through him, Klong flips the heavy lid of the coffin like it was made of cedar. Inside the coffin is the skeleton of a Dwarf, clutching a battered greataxe, with a visible carving on the half-moon blade. The bones rest on top of what must be several hundred engraved gold ingots
Kelvin stands dumbfounded and slackjawed. Words escape him as he words for some unknown statement and his hands twitch back and forth, unsure of their master's intent or will.

“Pfft. I s’pose.” Fionula will follow Glim and Klong into the new area.
ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he).
Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.

OoC: Does this appear to be the actual greataxe, or is the axe part of the effigy? Is it giving off an aura of magic?

OoC: Does Glim see anything that can be opened? "Dais" sounds like just a platform, as opposed to a container.

The effigy is on the lid of a circular stone coffin sitting on the dais. There is a discernible lid which looks heavy.

Klong steps back. Perhaps one of the magic users can determine the safety and authenticity of this? He tries to see what he can make of this.
