Talien opens the door and grips his sword with both hands, making a vicious downward chop, after that if the rat is not dead, he will tactically retreat as to open the way for other attackers (7 feet at most)
Once the party is in position, Alten nods at Talien. The metal man pushes the door wide open, giving Arxius a shot. Slightly underestimating the speed at which the rat charges forward, her arrow removes the rats tail. Talien, having a split second longer view, brings his sword down upon the rat's skull as its head emerges from the room.
The party resets itself around the cell with the last rat, repeating the process. When the door is opened, Grom's firebolt and Rees' arrow make short work of the beast.
Meepo goes in and picks up the last rat by the tail
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Having cleared the “infested cells” of their occupants you poke through each nest and find 4sp,0gp, and 3 quartz-like gems (worth 5 gp each). Meepo munches on one of the dead giant rat happily as you complete this search.
Once complete you motion Meepo forward and he leads you to the end of the hallway and into the large room at the end.
Disabled Traps
The cobblestone floor in this room contains two trapdoors blocked open by iron spikes. The north wall holds a dry fountain carved with an overarching diving dragon. A faint rotten stench pervades the room. There is a wooden door set in the western wall. It is closed, but appears unbarred.
Freakin' rats nests. Don't even like going in those cells. Shivers. Someone else check the rest of them, please. The previous fountain was magical, maybe Chatra and Grom should check it
We should toss the cells to see if we can find anything in there. Also, make sure there aren't any more gods damned rats.
straight roll for first cell 9 (+1 perception, -1 investigation): Simultaneous post
No roll was needed to find the “treasure”. I re-rolled the gems and caused the dice error above on purpose. I suppose the specifications in the book are written for IRL play where the DM wouldn’t type out what you find, but instead roll behind a DM screen, lol.
DC 15 Wisdom (Survival): Examining traps more closely. Discovering any clues.
DC 10 Intelligence (Investigation): General check of the room.
EDIT: Fixed dice tags that didn’t parse. You each get 15 XP for killing the giant rats.
Is Dry Fountain supposed to be listed twice? The what about the door in the west wall - is one of those dry fountains the door? Assuming the door is there:
Rees, you want to check the door over there and see if it is trapped or anything?

Grom the fountain looks strangely similar to the other fountain you discovered at the southern end of the hallway. You suspect this fountain is also of a magical nature. You also find another strange inscription (in draconic) that is mostly worn away on the front of the basin. Do you want Meepo to read it? Or, do you want to do something else first?
Chatra and Talien spot suspicious metallic tubes in the carved dragon’s mouth, as well as a small, rusted iron canister at the base of the fountain.
DC 15 Wisdom (Survival): Examining traps more closely. Discovering any clues.
The first trap is just five feet in front of the hallway where you entered the room. Looking into each of the traps reveals a 20-foot-deep pit containing only rat bones, rusted metal bits, and filth. Chatra and Talien pick up the humanoid footprints once again and see that they skirt around the traps and lead to the western wooden door. The humanoids that made the prints likely disabled the traps here.
DC 10 Intelligence (Investigation): General check of the room.
When Chatra and Talien get close to the western door the stench of rotten meat coming from the other side assails their senses. Scratching and chittering can be heard from this position as well. The door does not appear to be trapped, nor barred.

"Sure, I'll take a look in a second," she replies, already bent over and inspecting the traps that had been disarmed.
Survival for the traps: 9 Perception/Investigation for the door (they have the same modifier, so it doesn't really matter): 20

"Meepo can you read what the fountain says?" Arxius asks as she wanders over to the fountain, looking curiously at the pipes. "This could be another potion. It could also be straight water which would also be helpful."
Did Chatra and/or Talien point out what they saw in the fountain or no?
I don’t believe Chatra would have any cause to hide any info found in the room. Talien usually overshares, so I would say yes they pointed their findings out.

Meepo wanders over to the fountain happily and chirps, “Meepo read fountain... make magiks for friends!” He then reads the inscription aloud the toothy grin not leaving his face... “Let there be death!”
DM Note: I need everyone to make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw please.

Talien inspects the rat cells and retrieves all items and splits with the group. He will light a torch and check the following
DC 10 Intelligence (Investigation): General check of the room. (Alone) 9
DC 15 Wisdom (Perception): Dry Fountain. (With Alten's assistance) 16
