A dense fungi forest blocks your way, its tallest specimens growing some ten feet high. Even as you assess the best way to pass through it, a hissing sound starts to rise — like uncounted tiny voices whispering in tongues you don’t understand.
The forest of mushroom stalks makes this area hard to see through, and difficult terrain. The ceiling gets very low here, so it will not be possible to fly above the stalks.

"Yes, all myconid use rapport spores. I'm using them now. I do not have many other skills, but Voosbur has gained the ability to traverse great distances quickly. He calls it the 'Lady's Gift'."
As Grimnir follows along, he absently kicks away loose rocks and fungi from the path. The quaggoth spore servants stay as statues, but Voosbur stops his dancing just long enough to turn and incline his head towards Grimnir and Rumpadump. Then he returns to his rhythmic movement.

The sound you're hearing appears to be caused by a strange breeze that is blowing out of the cavern towards you. As it rushes through the holes and edges of the mushroom stalks it lets off a strange whispering howl. You spot a few tiny centipedes and spiders rushing among the base of the fungi in front of you, but still can't see further than 5 to 10 feet into the forest.
Oorr will ask Rumpadump what he knows about this forest of fungi:"Rumpadump, what do you know of this fungal forest? There is a weird sound coming from it."

Rumpadump peers into the forest. "This is how we arrived. Voosbur opened a portal through the mushrooms in the Neverlight Grove, and it brought us here. Then he started to lead the strange movement by those other smaller mushrooms," he says, pointing to the fungi identified by Valrish earlier. "I do not know what is causing the sounds. The strange wind is caused by the magic of this place, I think."
Oorr starts to make his way through the fungi forest. Very slowly. Zippy follows behind.
You push your way through the mushrooms, taking your time to place your feet and move the stalks out of the way. You travel slowly about 25 feet before you come to an intersection with paths leading left and right from the tunnel you just exited. Mushrooms and fungi still choke the tunnels in both directions.
Suddenly a swarm of centipedes bursts forth from the ground, quickly surrounding you and Zippy and attempt to bite you: Swarm 1 Bite on Oorr: Attack: 13 Damage: 12 Swarm 2 Bite on Zippy: Attack: 22 Damage: 11

(OOG Oorr is 25 feet from the entrance to this tunnel. The tunnel and other branches off of it are difficult terrain due to the mushrooms. I'll give you an extra movement action on your first turn if you decided to walk with Oorr as he went down the hallway.)

Oorr manages to avoid the biting, but Zippy gets surrounded and bitten by the centipedes. It seems that there is no friendship between insects.
