This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The final raft is sunk and as you all celebrate this, there is a worried call from Dajarkal "SHIP BEHIND US" as a Ballista bolt and Mangonal stone fly at your ship:
Ballista Attack at the Sails: 20 Damage: 24.
Mangonel Attack at the Helm: Attack: 10 Damage: 22
Anyone with an initiative roll above 6 can go, as the creatures on the other ship wait for an order from their captain.
Fortunately your captain rolled very high, so he can give orders for moving to and using the ship weapons (I was secretly hoping for a high roll from the other ship's captain).
(( Gumerawan will look astern can she see the other ship from her vantage point. Also what distance is it?))
[It is 100 ft away at the moment directly behind The Bounty and Gumerawan would have spotted the ship appear/lose its invisibility as the ship fired its Ballista and Mangonel.
So our options for firing the ship's weapons would be the Mangonel S and the Ballista P, right? The Mangonel basically takes five people/actions to use, so that would need the whole crew - let's try the Ballista first.
Get to the ballista,Kenton shouts. Firische, Dilllyu, move! Kenton also runs up, aims and takes the shot, aiming for personnel on the other ship if he can:
Let me know on the map below where you were AND where your sidekick was when the cannon was fired/the invisible ship appeared and where you want to move to/what you want to do on your turn (same for sidekick).
Some of you wont make it to the rear siege weapons in this turn based on the the posts made pre-post #1727. Due to the damage to the sails, The Bounty's speed is reduced 10 ft.
As a reminder, the normal cannons are towards the front of the ship, arcane cannons towards the rear of the ship.
Kenton and Firische were both at the cannon we fired. Not sure where that is exactly on the map - maybe around x24 y23 I suppose. So please place us as you see fit.

[The attack at the sails was a nat1, it was the attack at the helm that hit. Not sure what this entails.]
I think Oden would be at x22y27, seems like a spot that gives him good visibility.
Dillyu helped with the cannon, or intended to, so he's at x25y19.

[Oops, my mistake - I'd mixed the two rolls up (wishful thinking on the sahuagin's part). The ship still has full movement and the Helm (which has 13 hp left) is still functioning. It is only "If the helm is destroyed, the warship can’t turn."] Updated battlemap coming shortly.
[I think this placement works with your posts - I have used the description provided (i.e close to specific weapon) rather than the coordinates provided for some placements. Let me know if you want any character moved. Now that everyone has a better idea of where they are and where siege weapons are, I'll go back to where we were at post #1728. Even though the enemies are awaiting their captain's orders, I'll split the initiative up like a normal battle.]
A Ballista bolt flies wide past The Bounty's sails as a stone from a mangonel smashes into the helm of The Bounty, damaging it severely. The enemy ship is approximately 100 ft from the back of The Bounty and you see a large number of enemies on the deck of the craft or hanging off the side of it.
Anyone who makes a successful DC 12 perception can tell:
There are just under 30 enemies that you can see on or hanging off the ship.
If you pass that and make a successful DC13 investigation check OR you got 17 or above on your previous perception check, you see/figure out that:
There are 12 Lacedons hanging off the side of the ship looking like they are ready to jump in the water or onto a vessel, 15 kobolds on the deck running the ship and operating the siege weapons and a sahuagin dressed in similar garb to Selachai who appears to be in charge.
Four lacedons (L9 through L12) hang from the side of the enemy ship, but hold their actions, awaiting an order from their captain.
Oden and Dillyu are up.
Then another four lacedons (L5 to L8, also hanging off the side of the ship) and five kobolds (K6 to K10, all operating the Mangonel) hold their actions, awaiting an order from their captain.
Then Kenton, Firische and Beorth are up (the ship will move Beorth's go and that will be all he does).
Anyone who passed both checks can have a look at the following (low res) battle map showing both ships:
Don't worry If you didn't pass: you will get to see a battle map shortly, it is just hard to make out where the creatures on the other ship are at this time as battle is starting.
The Champion can fire the cannon
initiative 6
canon Attack: 10 Damage: 47
Paladin - warforged - orange
Gumerawan shouts encouragement to the gunners from up in the rigging.
[nice shot]
Initiative: 25

Can I also get Gumerawan's initiative?]
( Initiative: 9...bugger still too far away for spells, except Fog Cloud but that would just make things harder for us..)

( Gumerawan y22, x25 about 30ft up.)
( Triton y29, x24 about 20ft up)
Beatrice is x26, y22
Dajarkal is x26, y24

Rosan was helping with the Arcane cannon, so maybe x24, y33
