"I hear nothing. But then you are the only one with any elven blood among us," he adds. "Could this be a corrupted part of the Feywild? "
He then turns to the symbols and the sign that Mal has translated for them.
"It is not much to go on if it is a riddle."
Looking at them more closely, he then looks down to examine the floor in front of each of the symbols, looking to see if there is anything different, perhaps more wear and tear on some of the stones, or something that shows where the shock may come from.

The angry totem has a scar on the left of its forehead, the non-expression one looks unscratched, there is no wear on it. It is impossible to tell which ones are traps.
We could also just try our luck. we wouldn't trigger more than 3 traps and might get lucky and trigger none of them. All in all, our odds are not that bad, depending on how shocking those traps really are. Do we even know how they are activated?
Do the different statues depict different dragons or is it multiple iterations of the same? (Investigation: 20)

They all depict the same dragon, just with different facial expressions. You just have to stand in front of one to activate it.
Well, as i have heard from you all, we dont really have time to waste, right? says Simen just before he steps infront of the statue with blank expression, ready to dodge away in case it should activate.

While standing in front of the statue, a bunch of darts fly out of the dragon towards you (make a DC14 dexterity saving throw or take 15 damage)

See, was easy enough! Does someone want to check the door and the area thereafter before i step through that as well? You know what, i think i am doing quite well, so i'll press my luck.

Basina watches Simen somewhat recklessly get through the trap and head in to the next room. Her first instinct is to run after him to help him out. But before she follows her instinct she remembers that her armour makes a lot of noice. She forces herself to count to 10 before following him. Trying to Beas quiet as possible.

"Bound to be a trap on the pedestal, if you ask me." Mal'thrae says. "Any chance you more magic-types can tell if there's a spell on the pedestal - or the room itself?"
He shook his head. "I don't have that spell ready just now." He looked around also. "10 gold says there's some sort of beast guarding it, too. Best be extra careful."
(as reminder, if [Tooltip Not Found] is still active, everybody gets a +10 to their stealth checks) (how is the light in the areas of the door and the pedestal specifically? is it dim light? And how far is it between the entrance and the pedestal?)

Jadyn will clutch his amulet before casting detect magic at 1st level. He steps closer to the pedestal, but not close enough to trigger any possible traps, and looks to the pendant.
Basina stand back while the others examine the symbols. Taking a moment to think it trough.
”As I see it my money is on righter the blank expression one or the shocked looking one.” Then she turns to Mal.
”What are the voice telling you? Is it the same voice we heard telling us the rules about the cave?”

Gorokum readies himself at the sound of the growl.
"Fling the door wide, we might be able to deal with whatever is in there from a distance," he says to Simen.
You enter a short passageway that ends in a round room, in the center is a pedestal with a purple pendant on top of it.
"Bound to be a trap on the pedestal, if you ask me." Mal'thrae says. "Any chance you more magic-types can tell if there's a spell on the pedestal - or the room itself?"
"I do not deal in magic like that," Gorokum says to Mal'thrae. "One of the others may be better equipped."
Gorokum looks around for anything that could be the source of the growling or to see if it can still be heard.
He shook his head. "I don't have that spell ready just now." He looked around also. "10 gold says there's some sort of beast guarding it, too. Best be extra careful."
“Does anyone have the means to magically lift the pendant so we at least can stand at a safe distance?” Basina will ask.
