Rules

4. this module is very opposite of railroad. it is really up to you. You need to make all the choices. Be prepared. I don't want this thing going slow because you don't know what to do
5. this is pbp, but it still feels bad when 24 hours fly by and not a single word. Try to post at least once per day
6. Do not view monster statblocks
7. Equipment: I don't say what things are in each shop, that would take a whole day. So you gotta look for equipment
8. Content Sharing is welcomed, although if you do i will give you a chance to change your PCs if you want to use additional content
9. Most importantly, have fun

Character Creation Rules

1. If nothing is specified, always assume RAW. Because of this I will accept rules lawyering

3. read the links in the above rule and make a character with it
4. You can roll stats(no rerolling 1s, and only roll once) in this thread and make a character
5. Character Secrets: Character Secrets are designed to create suspicion and dark secret themes. You can roll a d20-3(reroll if lower than 1) in the thread along with your stats and I will PM you what secret you get. If you don't want one, you can decline it, and not roll at all. If you want two, you can roll twice. Not three though- that's too much.
6. This adventure is set around Ten-Towns, so you can be a Ten-Towner. PM me for details about the Ten-Towns
7. You may also be part of the Reghed Nomads(Wild barbarian animal totemism-type tribe if you know what i mean)
8. If you're a goliath you may come from the Spine of the World- again, PM for details
9. If you're a mountain dwarf you may come from the dwarf valley- yet again PM for details
10. You all start at Ten-Towns, when Auril has laid a frosty curse on the land- most outsiders don't know about it, so you learned about the curse when you came to Icewind Dale/or if you lived in Ten-Towns you already knew about it. You just start out in a town, no specific hook or such

  Now the entire above is messed up, frustrating. Please just PM me the first two secret rolls, as those seem to have resolved now. I'll keep these ability rolls, though they have changed as well, oh well.
