Erven looks in the bucket and examines the well. “I’m glad that we laid Rose and Thorn to rest. Should we try to do the same for Esme? What did you find Talion? I took a fairly hard hit from those crossbow bolts.” Erven turns and looks at Onyx - “Perhaps you can lead now Onyx. Hopefully I found the trap for you, we should look for more as we go.” Erven gives Onyx a wry smile. “Wasn’t there a room north of here?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Sho goes to pick up the remaining vials of poison and examines them with care, before handing them to Erven. "Might still have enough for a couple uses." He says lightly.
“There may be one for Walter." Sho considers, thinking back to the imagery of the spectre of Esme gently rocking the cradle, "It'd be appropriate for them to lie together.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Talion pauses a moment as Bertolt arranges the items that they found, he gathers up the coins -- leaving the pouch behind -- then examines the gems and sword a little more closely before placing them back where Bertolt placed them. When he realizes Bertolt is setting up for a spell, he glances around a little nervously, "Call out if you need help!".
With that, he heads after Onyx and Erven, catching Sho's comment as he arrives. "Yes...the dolls house had two empty-looking coffins, I think."
Bertolt will take the items and sit for the side as the others explore a bit more, taking the time to Ritual Cast Detect Magic.
In contrast to the chaos of colour you detected in the upper levels, down here in the gloom below the house is a different story. You can see that Lucky Bear glows with a soft green light and you sense this as necromantic energy. Talion's ring (if visible) glows a variation of brown. The sword Onyx wields glows with several colours at once (transmutation) and also has a soft blue glow that remains steady (enchantment). Oddly, wisps of the multicolour glow at times seem to move up Onyx's hand and arm to his head. The eye patch with the carnelian sewn into it emits a pale orange aura (divination).

Investigation (more details on items): 19
The short sword is fairly well-made and doesn't hold shadow like most items. You estimate its worth to be around 110 gp. The moss agates around 10 gp each. The eyepatch's carnelian is worth around 50 gp, and the brush probably around 25 gp.
Okay, so you are all heading to the northern room - Onyx first and the rest in single-file BEST formation? Or some other?
(( Talion's ring would be visible on his left hand -- he's there are the start, handling the items while Bertolt sets up the spell. Will update loot! Assuming it all goes into the bag? Otherwise it can go in Talion's chest. ))
BEST (or should that be BLEST!) formation works for me (probably Lucky hanging near the middle), though it looks like single-file sometimes, so maybe: OETLBS (( Sho is now pretty well armored and has decent perception I assume )).
Bertolt will replace the shortsword on his belt with the silvered one, handing the other to whomever may need it or be skilled fighting with another weapon. Due to his curiosity he will put the eye patch over his left eye. "Keep an eye on the dog. It may not be what it seems and be wary of the blade you carry Oynx it is worrisome..."
Erven is still looking at what has been found, sees that Onyx has rushed on to the north room and he goes behind him, following in usual formation. This time, he goes slower and is checking for traps, regardless of Onyx's speed.
Perception : 17
Erven says out of the corner of his mouth back to Talion, Bert and Sho, "Hey guys, have noticed that Onyx is behaving a little differently since he picked up that sword? What is that all about?"
Sho lifted an eyebrow at Erven's comment. Maybe a little different, but they've been trapped in a haunted house with ghosts and zombies and spiders, anyone would get reasonably tense - not really a place to judge someone's character. And he prefers not to talk behind Onyx's back. "He's probably tired." Sho replies, in a conclusive tone that meant he didn't want to continue.
Sho looks back at Talion. "It's honest work." He says.
Talion glances around while securing the silver brush and gems in has pack, then raises his eyebrows, "Yes, honest work...I can see that, taking fees from the recently bereaved in order to stop their loved ones rising up and killing everyone else. Very civic minded." He nods, a broad grin on his face. "Nice work if you can get it. Me...I'm just saving up for all them fees and charges" he says, as he closes the lid of his pack.
When Erven mentions Onyx, the grin disappears and he frowns a little but says nothing, watching the big warriors back as he marches determinedly in the front. He has been a little odd.
Sho withdrew his gaze without comment. It was his initiation into priesthood, he was lying in a tomb much like these ones. He felt his limbs growing cold, his thoughts slowing, his heart stagnant. His priestess was standing above him, he couldn’t see, but he recited silently every word of her prayers until everything faded to nothingness.
He slowly nods, a strange smile curls its way onto his lips. “Certainly," He says with much genuinity, "I would do you free of charge.”
Talion smiles broadly, and claps Sho on the back. "All gifts gratefully accepted! Though I have no plans to die here."
As he is about to turn away, he pauses. "If I do...die, I hope you do everything you can to bring me back. My work is not yet finished! I am sure I would be a dire and terrible avenging spirit should my destiny be thwarted."
Sho eyes Talion curiously. If the Lord of the Hand and the Eye has been watching over him, then by association he’s watching his companions as well. The desire to cheat death… it does make one a prime candidate whose ideals align with the Lord’s philosophy. Not to mention the man’s natural charisma, of course.
He smiles back. “Your destiny will be taken care of.” He simply says.
Talion pauses a moment, unsure if he is missing some hidden meaning, but then smiles broadly and nods in satisfaction, "We can look out for each other" he says, looking around to include all of his companions. "No-one left behind in this house of horrors."
Despite Bertolt's warning, his gaze settles on Lucky Bear, "Even you, flea-bag."
Onyx rushes ahead despite recent history and fortunately for him, this room to the north is unoccupied by any creatures or hostility. It seems to also be living quarters though a lot smaller and less extravagant that the previous room. A wooden table and four chairs stand at one end of this room. To the south are four alcoves containing moldy straw pallets.
In the center of the room, you see a skeleton lying on the floor, bones broken and chewed upon...
You all see Onyx slowly move toward the skeleton and fall to his knees in front of it...

Once again, Talion helps Erven checking the room for threats, before asking for help investigating the skeleton and sleeping alcoves, looking for information about their origin and purpose, as well as any portable valuables.

Sho frowns. He moves into the room to have a better look around, and his gaze pauses at the maimed skeleton, then falls on Onyx. "Come," he lends a hand, "can you still stand?" He goes to do a closer inspection on the skeleton in front of him.
Onyx remains silent for a moment. Then, wordlessly, he unslings his own pack and carefully, bone by bone, transfers the remains to the pack. He straightens back up, his voice a strained whisper.
"I'm . . alright, thank you, Sho. This was a hero, and also deserves a respectful burial. We should keep an eye out as we move on."

There is a trace of Onyx's earlier irritation when Erven addresses him, but he seems a little better now.
"Are we certain Esme has a place of rest? She was devoted, yes, but she was just a maid to Gustav and Elisabeth, right?"
Hand on his sword, he moves north, towards what seemed to be lesser servant's quarters.
