You scour the room closely. Where the fiendish spider disappeared, you find two fangs that still contain some venom inside. It looks like you could use them as darts or small daggers, if you wanted to. The two bodies of the wolf spiders lie in their own bloody or charred remains. You suspect you could scavenge things from at least one of the bodies, if you were motivated to do so. Bear slowly comes up the stairs after you but stops just at the stair entrance, sniffing the air and inching closer to the spider body to smell it.
Talion, you try to hack some of the stickier webs and they come loose and fall to the floor. The floor still acts as difficult terrain and everyone's speed is halved...
You listen at the door and hear the sounds of children's voices and laughter coming from within...
Bertolt shrugs off any of the web in his way, picking up his crossbow up as he steps through the web. "Onward it seem." He mutters as he moves towards the sound of the voices.
Onyx tries the door and it’s not locked. The door swings inward...
...This dust-choked room contains a slender bed, a night stand, a small iron stove, a writing desk with a stool, an empty wardrobe, and a rocking chair, rocking slightly, stopping suddenly when you enter. A dirty, ragged, smiling doll in a lacy yellow dress sits in the northern window box, cobwebs draping it like a wedding veil...
Onyx musters a somewhat cocksure smile as he takes the the spooky room. A few hours ago he might have been scared, but now? Now he felt empowered.
"One moment, friends," he says, stepping to the threshold. He takes a moment to call upon his divine sense."Come on out, ghost. You can't hide from us."

"You and I aren't in any shape to face two more spectres. Let the man use his mojo..."

@Onyx As you survey the room, you allow your senses to open to it, inviting the sensation. You detect a strong and foul odor coming from the doll - it is evil and fiendish - though it does not seem active in any way... Nothing else in the room gives you these feelings, although the walls and the house itself still gives off a rotten smell...
@Ervan and @Talion You both tag-team the room. You notice a weird shape under the blanket of the bed. Pulling it back, you find a corpse. It's dessicated body is nearly all skeleton with some leathery skin left. It's clothes are of a high quality, although they've been eaten away in some areas or rotted off. The well-taken-care-of leather boots are beside the bed. Whatever happened to this body, there are no signs of violence. In the desk, you find a rolled up piece of paper, well-hidden. It tells a tale of being invited to an exclusive dinner by wealthy patrons, only to find out that it was less a dinner than an elaborate ritual. The only thing that saved me,it reads, was that a baby seems to have been borne this night and Master Durst asked everyone to go back to their quarters. I came back to this room with a chill. It feels like there are voices, whispers, laughter in this room. And not to mention that ghastly doll! I swear it is watching me, following me with its eyes, even saying something to me...Bah! No matter. On the morrow I leave. Searching further, you open the wardrobe and find that there is a false bottom that comes out easily. You both gasp as you view the contents (in no particular order):
4 10gp gems 8 25 gp paintings 8 25 gp paintings 7 50gp gems 1x ornate bag with arcane symbols all over it 6 10gp gems 10 50gp gems 5 10gp gems 1 x Spell Scroll 6 50gp gems 7 25 gp paintings 1 set of vestments 1 short sword 1 mess kit 1 smithy's tools 1 studded leather armor 1 scale mail 2 x rapiers *these last items are familiar to you as they are yours.
Onyx glances towards Erven and Talion as they summarily raid the place, heedless of danger or traps. There is a pang of irritation on his face, but he is past the point of arguing with them. Besides, if he was cleaning his house. . . perhaps it all belonged to him anyway.
His eyes fix back on the doll - there was a threat there, and he aimed to eliminate it in the best way he could. He moves forward, raising the Sentinel high overhead before trying to strike the haunted plaything.

Talion lifts the scroll and the bag gingerly, and hands them to Bertolt. "What do you make of these?"
He then continues to search, collecting the various coins and gems together. "We should hang on to the gems and jewelry until we can get a good deal, but the coins..." he shrugs, and rummages in his pack for a moment, pulling out other coins he previously found, then distributes them among his companions.
With a practiced hand he rapidly counts out the coins, handing everyone 21CP, 10SP, 11GP.
Sho follows inside the room, with a squeaking sound the rocking chair stops, as well as the soulless eyes of the broken doll, the big, dirty orbs staring into the emptiness of death. He reaches out and reads the journal that Talion and Ervan had discovered under the skeleton. "Another victim of the Priests of Osybus, then. He never had the chance to leave.“ He says quietly before setting the note down, and respectfully covers the body back up.
Investigation (I mean, probably already to late for the cause of death?): 8
He looks over at Talion who’s already skillfully and efficiently dividing up the loot, and catches sight of Onyx’s infinitesimal irritation. He doesn’t mind the exploration, though it seems Onyx would prefer them to stay on course. He rolls up his old set of vestments he hasn’t worn since he left the temple but he is still holding onto for some reason. “I think Onyx has found something.” He states, while putting on his scale mail, referring to the big guy at the doll.
Erven takes one of the rapiers, "well suited to me." He is just saying to Talion "Look in the ornate bag with arcane symbols on it" and joking with him about putting everything in the chest when he hears and sees Onyx hack at the odd looking doll in the chair. He unsheathes the rapier and readies his shield, turning toward the potential threat.
