So, I had an idea for a new campaign that I think might be fun to run with some of my players. It's name? Dungeons and Doordash. The PC's have to deliver food to exotic destinations, risking life and limb just to deliver a meat pie. Does that sound like a fun campaign?
My DM is also thinking of starting a courier service type campaign, similar to Futurama! I think it sounds like an awesome idea, just run it by your players first.
It would breathe more life into one of my fave spells Galder’s Speedy Courier so I'm all for it.

That sounds like a hilarious idea for a short joke campaign. (Personally I wouldn’t want to do it for more than a few sessions, but if your players are up for that level of funny go as long as you want!) Some goblin guards deep in a dungeon order a pizza, and the characters have to fight halfway through the place just to get the pizza in. :)
Delivering item from point a to b has a long history in D&D. In this case there could be some fun with the time component of getting it there before it rots, and keeping the box itS in flat and level. You could even do it without telling the PCs what’s inside. Just tell them this crate needs to be taken to the next town over by sundown, and it can’t be jostled too much. Let the party assume it’s some kind of dangerous item, but have the person on the other side open it and take out a turkey sandwich.
I can already see someone taking the Chef feat and making sure if their delivery goes sideways and the ruin the dish on their way, the chef can attempt to create a new dish. :D
the folks over at geek & sundry play a game called paranoia and the mission is basically what you describe and should be easily convertable to a d&d game delivering the food through a death dealing dungeon.

It could be. Depends on how much buy-in you get from your players and what creative foods and locales are introduced.
This site published a set of encounters as the run up to Rime of the Frostmaiden that started tasking the PCs as basically postal workers, so why not?
Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.

I'd play that campaign.

Sounds amazing.

The franchise system from acquisitions Inc sounds ideal for this - it can be pretty funny. 😊
