Need a little help clarifying regeneration: for creatures like trolls & vampires that regenerate hp at the start of their turns unless they take specific damage in which case “this trait doesn’t function at the start of (the monsters) next turn”
Does this mean that the monster doesn’t regenerate health just this round, or does it stop regeneration for the rest of the combat?
The way I understand the rules as they are written would imply that the regeneration would be prevented only for the round that the monster took the appropriate damage type, and it would kick back in on the following round if that damage was not applied.

Thanks!

Just the one turn. If you want to shut down regeneration for the whole combat, that damage type must be used each round.
