Hello! I am running a campaign for my players where they are getting blessings. Currently they are small, but each 'level' of the item, the more bonuses they get. I am trying to give the player an extra Grit for the Gunslinger class. But I do not see an option to do that. Can someone help? I tried looking into it by googling and the such, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks!
There is no way for a magic item to actually affect that subclass feature. Those limited use features (like grit, ki, sorcery points, etc.) use “limited use data” attached to an action that is part of the feature. There is no Modifier used in the feature, so there is no modifier to add to an item. You would have to just attach a “charge” to the item and the player would have to remember to check that off in the inventory section of their sheet separate from their regular grit.

I thought that might end up being the solution. Thanks for the help and giving the details of why it wouldn't work!
