I was thinking in the next game to change my Soc class to make it feel even more different then a wiz. I was thinking of having them use spell point instead of slots. Then combine the spell point and soc point into one pool. Has any one tried something like this before. If so can you tell me how it worked out for you.
Also is there a way to to have Beyond show Spell points instead of slot or will I need to make a Feet for each level and add it to the soc that way?
IMO, the best fix for Sorcerers is to give them spell points instead of spell slots, but I recommend keeping the them separate from their Sorcery Points. The additional flexibility with spell points already means that conversion is practically unnecessary most of the time which means that the Sorcery Points can be preserved exclusively for Metamagic. It also means that converting spell points to sorcery points will be more efficient than converting from slots.
