I am currently creating an item for my draconic bloodline sorcerer that gives him additional spells. There is a total of six spells that should be added but somehow the item only adds four of them. I created all of them with the same properties so I just cannot figure out why they don't work.
The spells are: Ice Knife, Snowball Swarm, Sleet Storm, Chromatic Orb, Protection from Energy, Alter Self.
Has anyone any idea? The item does not have atunement or any complicated functions.
Did anyone experience something similiar? Thank you a lot in advance for your answers!
Hrm, be sure that you hit [Save Changes] on the homebrew item's main edit page. It may then take up to 20 minutes for the homebrew changes to percolate to your character sheet.
But as a general note, if this is intended to give your Sorcerer access to those spells for the purpose of casting them with spell slots, then a homebrew item is not the way to go. I suggest you instead make a homebrew subclass based on the Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer. There's a guide for how to add spells to a subclass in the way you seem to intend, I'll check for it.

Yes they should be cast with Spell Slots but adding them with an item was the quicker solution. Maybe I should wrap my head around those spell tables and add them that way.
It isn’t hard, you would add them the same way you did to your magic item, but there are additional fields and dropdowns that you can use to further customize the interactions:
Consumes Spell Slot: Yes
Counts as Known: No
That combination will add the regular [CAST] button to your spells on their character sheet, but not have those spells count against their number of known spells.

Please give the url to your character sheet so someone can take a look.
