I’m looking to have weapons that do addition damage, once per turn or every attack in the future. But beyond doing a custom attack on the character sheet I can’t seem to get even the base damage to show up as a clickable action. Just 2d10+ Str.
I have tried 3 modifiers to no avail; bonus melee damage, damage slashing, and bonus natural attack. These are what I have tried and failed.
Example Halberd: Once per turn, when you hit with an attack using this weapon, the attack deals an extra 1d10damage of the weapon’s type.
Siege Breaker: As a bonus action you can empower the weapon to deal an additional 2d10 damage of the weapon’s type to objects only not being held or carried; walls, doors, statues.
Proficiency with a halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
It’s either something not possible yet. Or something very simple I’m over looking.
There is no way to currently change base weapon damage. There are modifiers to increase the damage, but the additional damage will only display as a note on the item next to the base damage as a reminder to the player to roll it separately. (The dice roller is still under construction).

Has there been any change in the status of this feature/ability in the several months? Is the dice roller still under construction?
I would also like to homebrew a weapon that has a (negative) bonus to damage.

You can totally make a weapon with a negative damage modifier, but it will only show as a note next to damage.
