I am trying to make a feat, as was suggested somewhere else in these forums, that would address the additions that come from being bitten by a wereraven.
The suggestion made it seem easy (and I am absolutely sure it is for some people here) but after an hour searching Google, these forums and reading through the brilliant Demystifying Homebrew posts I was still no closer to my goal.
Can you all help me run through the steps it would take? I have seen at least 4-6 forum posts asking for this and not seen any resolution.
These are the only parts you’ve got to worry about; (the speed changes can’t be done a feat because temporary features are not currently supported, but can directly on the character sheet as needed):
Mimicry. The wereraven can mimic simple sounds it has heard, such as a person whispering, a baby crying, or an animal chattering. A creature that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 10 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Regeneration. The wereraven regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn. If the wereraven takes damage from a silvered weapon or a spell, this trait doesn’t function at the start of the wereraven’s next turn. The wereraven dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate.
Beak (Raven or Hybrid Form Only).Melee Weapon Attack:+4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage in raven form, or 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage in hybrid form. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with wereraven lycanthropy.
Change Shape. The wereraven polymorphs into a raven–humanoid hybrid or into a raven, or back into its humanoid form. Its statistics, other than its size and speed, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It reverts to its humanoid form if it dies.
Mimicry would really just be plain text. You could make an action for it, but it isn’t really necessary and if this were official I doubt they would either.
Regeneration would also just be plain text.
Beak would require an Action be added to the feature for the natural weapon. You could use the Dampire as a template for a race to see how natural weapons are coded and the current wording for PC Natural weapons and then delete it.
Change Shape will also require an Action as it is one, but all it really needs is an Activation Type and the rest is just text.

Please advise.
You’re right, this will be an easy one.

Post here again if you need more help.
