I'm finishing a Homebrew Subclass but I can't publish it for the reasons below.
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
It's a Four Elements homebrew, however, I've already changed the names of the sub's options and followed the pattern of the original sub with only 6th, 11th and 17th level features. I really want to publish it but Idk what to do at this point :/
Did you click the [SAVE CHANGES] button on the subclass's main page. Refer to here, General FAQ & Basic Troubleshooting #6.
Did you change any of the spells to something that is not from the Basic Rules?
Do you have a class features at 3? Per this guide, you need 3, 6, 11, and 17.
And as a reminder:
You do not need to publish your homebrews to use them. All homebrew in Your Homebrew Collection is automatically made available to every character in every DDB campaign you are in.
You cannot edit or delete Homebrew that you have shared with the community. “Published is permanent.” For your own benefit, take time to thoroughly playtest and edit all content prior to publishing it.
2. Oh I guess that's the problem, I added Ashardalon's Stride as an ability, I didn't know you couldn't do that 😭. Thank you!!
3. I do, I forgot to mention the 3rd level. But thanks again!
I just wanted to publish it because it's a sub people really wanted some changes and after almost 2 years of playtest, me and my group have made several changes to it and It's very fun, well rounded and balanced nowadays. Thank you very much for the help!

My bad indeed, I read it before but completely forgot no. 2. But after removing said spells, this message still appears, even though there are no features outside levels 3, 6, 11 and 17:
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
Whenever you add anything to, change anything on, or remove anything from any homebrew, you MUST re-save the entire project using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information. The system only checks those compliances when the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information has been hit.

I'm really sure, I even made a copy of the subclass to re-check things as we speak right now and to my surprise the copy got the same message of not having the necessary class features and required levels etc... besides being too similar to the sub from the book. It's just so weird. Ps: that happened after I added absorb elements to one of the options (Elemental Disciplines), I deleted it afterwards to see if the message would persist and it did.
About sending the sub here and highliting things, I'm on my phone now during a trip, but tomorrow I'll be back home and I'll do it asap. Really appreciate all the help man!
"This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass."
This is happening because you have used licensed content as part of your homebrew. In this case, Ashardalon’s Stride was the first one I spotted, but with the number of options you have for this subclass, it's best to check them all.
"This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels."
This is happening because you only have two subclass features, and they are both granted at level 3. A fully-functional monk subclass needs to have one or more subclass features at levels 3, 6, 11, and 17.
As others have said - please don't be in a rush to publish a subclass - they should be tested and preferably playtested too, prior to being published.
You can use the subclass, as can anyone in a campaign that you're in or running, without needing to publish it.
I re-added the ability with A.Stride since I couldn't fix it. But once I get home I'll make the changes again and bump here okay?
About the two abilities, it's exactly how it's done on the regular subclass Way of The Four Elements when you use it as a draft for your homebrew, that's why I didn't change things there. That sub only adds options in Elemental Disciplines throughout those said levels: 3,6,11,17.
Thank you for your kind support, I'm not intending to publish it right now per se, but I'm worried of all the hard working into making being wasted away for not being able to publish later. Then again, thanks guys!
The DDB Devs can override those level requirements for their use in implementing the official content from WotC. We, however, cannot for our homebrews. You will need to add ribbon features at 11th & 17th levels. Ribbons are thematic but ultimately inconsequential features that “put a ribbon on” a subclass to make it more attractive. Those could be anything like proficiency in a musical instrument, a language/tool proficiency, or even a minor cantrip they automatically receive at those levels.in fact it could be something even less consequential.

Actually if you're trying to make a viable Four Elements monk, I'd recommend something better than a ribbon unless you're significantly ramping up the power or reducing the cost of Elemental Disciplines. One of the main complaints about this subclass is that comparable subclasses like Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster get a full compliment of features alongside their spell list.
Sorry, not the main topic of discussion here but it's something I feel strongly about.

I attempted this in my Saltmarsh Campaign with a Way of the Kraken homebrew Subclass for Monk. Even with only a dozen or so available spells across all four spell levels and no Cantrips, it was incredibly overpowered.
The only thing more OP was giving the party a Javelin of Lightning, which they immediately gave to their Tempest Cleric.

Way of the Kraken
You follow a monastic tradition that teaches you to harness the sea and storms and bend them to your will, using them as an extension of your body.
Disciplines of Storm and Sea
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn magical disciplines that harness power over the sea and storm. You learn 3 disciplines at Level 3 and may choose more as you level up in Monk, as detailed in the Way of the Kraken table below. Whenever you learn a new discipline, you can also replace one discipline that you already know with a different discipline.
Discipline Spells
Your disciplines allow you to cast spells. See chapter 10 for the general rules of spellcasting. To cast one of these spells, you use its casting time and other rules, but you don’t need to provide material components for it, channeling ki in place of these components.
Spell Slots
The Way of the Kraken Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
Spellcasting Ability Because of the intricate movements involved, Dexterity is your spellcasting ability for your spells. You use your Dexterity whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Dexterity modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher
You know three 1st-level disciplines (spells) of your choice from the Way of the Kraken spell list.
The Disciplines Known column of the Way of the Kraken table shows when you learn more spells of 1st level or higher.

I know, but the issue is still present after Saving and all. Thank you for trying to help though. I wish I could send a print here
Its a Monk subclass, right?
Are you really, really sure you only have features at 3rd, 6th, 11th, & 17th levels and none of them accidentally got set to a different level?
Do any of the features grant a choice of Options at any level other than those four specific levels? Anything at all set to a different level?
Can you please highlight and copy your subclass and paste it here for us to look at? There may be some clue we could see that way.
