Is there a way to create homebrew ammunition?

I wanted to create special arrows for my players but once I create a +1 arrow for example, it won't let me create it without selecting a base weapon and there's no way of selecting ammunition. 

Is there something I'm missing or just something that needs to be added to dndbeyond?

Not yet, it still needs to be added.

just make a generic magic item instead of making them a weapon and add the bonus as a thing in the name

Wondrous items can’t stack. One could use scrolls though.

Found this thread hoping to find that this had been fixed by now.

but if it's of any help to you, this is my workaround: I create my custom ammo as Darts. They stack and they don't require tabbing over to the inventory. Works well enough for now.

Javelins also stack, BTW, which is perfect for my homebrew bombs that can be thrown 30 ft. (darts are only 20 ft.).

Any update from the Dev team? We need an Ammunition option for Homebrew.

There have been no updates since WotC purchased the site.

Any updates? I read back in 2020 that this was in their pipeline—it's been 4 years since then. Was this removed? Is it still in the pipeline, just backlogged for 4 years?

@Graham3D, still nothing I'm afraid. Best workaround is still to create them as potions or darts so they're stackable and just name them "??? Arrow" etc

Joining here to ask here again about ammunition.

Is there a particular place to bother WoTC or the DDB team about this? Have been trying to implement an easy way to manage different ammo types for my players and unfortunately it's very frustrating.
