I'm trying to create personalized magic items for my party, and I learned that when you add a spell to an item it is either at will, or it uses charges. I wanted to add spells that were usable once per long rest. So, I created feats that do such (because you can do that there), and when I try to add those feats as modifiers to those items, they don't show up in the list. Am I doing something wrong? How do I make this work besides having the characters take the feat?
Modifier: Feat only works with the “Choose a Feat” Subtype, and only for races. It is not currently possible to create a magic item with spells that have specific limited uses other than with charges.

Really? Because when I choose that modifier, it gives me a whole list of feats to choose from. It just doesn't show my homebrewed feats.
It displays the list of feats, but the item won’t actually apply the feat to the character.
