Because of your monkey nature, you have a climbing speed of 25 feet. In addition, you can use your reaction to gain advantage on a dexterity check or saving throw. You can gain advantage this way equal to a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
In the feature, I created an Action, set it to reaction, and applied limited usage to proficiency 1xPB. Then I made modififers that applied advantage in the same feature but it's just giving advantage all the time instead of applying it when the action is used. Can this be done where it gives advantage after instead of it being always persistent?
Temporary/triggered effects are not currently supported by DDB.
If I might make a suggestion and point out a couple of things:
Suggestion• Make the climbing speed equal to the walking speed “Modifier: Set->Subtype Innate Speed (climbing)” (If you leave the “Fixed Value” field empty it will automatically match the number to whatever the walking speed is, including bonuses from stuff like being a Monk.)
Point 1• Reactions need to have triggers designated. So perhaps change the wording to something like this: “Whenever you make a Dexterity Check or Saving Throw, you can spend your reaction to gain advantage on the roll.”
Point 2• You have some redundant language regarding the number of uses. Perhaps something more like this: “You can use this trait a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus and regain all uses whenever you finish a long rest.”
