I just figured this out because I need it for my campaign where they can play (and are) as dinosaurs (not as big as they actually are, more shrunken or slightly larger versions that are capable of everything humans are, although they are definitely not humanoid and don’t look like human Dino hybrids), use custom lineage as the base and they get the feat option. Just in case you never got an answer.
Also, the expanded Spell lists don’t work for any homebrew.
I found a way to do this but it just permanently gives you the spells, meaning that at level 1 characters can have the 5th level spell Teleportation Circle even if they can't cast spells which is weird.
Question- Is there a way to have a different race display than what my player is playing. They are playing a changeling and don't want any of the other players to know yet.
You would have to create a homebrewed copy of the changeling and rename it, but even if you do, whenever a player looks at your sheet they’re gonna see the changeling traits. Best bet is to make two characters, on that’s a did race and put that one in the campaign and another that’s a changeling in a completely separate campaign.
