I'm trying to create a Subclass feature that deals damage and the damage scales up with level. I have the feature as an Action, and I have Level Scaling for each level, and it's showing correctly as {{scalevalue}} in the snippet, but I'm not able to get the damage dice to increase with character level.
The “level scaling” is only for snippets, to get the actual dice to increase you have to add “at higher levels” data to that Action. Go edit your action and check all the way at the bottom.
