I just finished a rough copy of some (homebrew) Divine Soul focused Metamagic options, though they are still in the making. Tell me what you folks think about them, and wether or not you think they need tweaking. Thanks!
Sympathetic Spell
When you cast a spell with a range of Self, you may spend Sorcery Points equal to the spell's level to instead target any creature of your choice within 5 feet of you.
Buffing Spell
When you cast a spell that targets a friendly creature, you may spend a number of Sorcery points equal or less than the spell's level. The creature gains temporary hit points equal to 4 x the number of Sorcery Points you spent.
Holy Spell
When you cast a spell that deals damage, you may spend 2 Sorcery Points to change the damage type of that spell to Force or Radiant damage.
I like the first 2 (honestly, I like the 3rd too, but I'll get to that).
I'm not sure sympathetic spell needs so many sorcery points, a fixed number of 1 or 2 is probably fine.
I suggest renaming buffing spell to warding spell or shielding spell. No other notes, I like that effect.
Holy spell I feel is too strong. Force and radiant are far less resisted types (force especially) than other damage types, and it discourages taking spells of different elements and just focusing on the spell's effect or damage.
The reason I made Sympathetic Spell with Sorcery Points directly proportional to spell level can be solely blamed upon the 9th level spell 'Invulnerability'. I just could never forgive myself if a Sorcerer granted the Fighter in the party immunity to all damage (death machine!) for so few sorcery points.
Otherwise, I agree with your suggestions. Especially the re-naming of Buffing Spell ( it was a last minute naming, and I regretted the name as soon as I wrote it down. But hey, I couldn't miss the New Year's party!).

I'm, maybe cost sorcerer points equal to half spell level rounded up, and cantrips cost 1.

Invulnerability isn’t a Sorcerer spell...the only way to cast it with meta magic would be to multi class Wizard 17/Sorcerer 2-3. Honestly if you’re at level 19/20 being able to grant invulnerability to a Fighter isn’t as big a deal as you think, players are basically demigods at that point and high CR creatures often have ways to deal with PCs that don’t deal damage (banishment, restraint, petrification, charm, etc)
if you wanted to tie it to CR, I’d do 1/3rd rounded down (1 for cantrip-lvl5, 2 for lvl6-8, 3 for level 9)
if applied to Wish it is very strong since you could have a familiar cast Wish so if it backfires you don't lose the spell.
I also love the idea of adding to the Sorcerer Capstone to let them combine an additional Metamagic on a spell once per Short rest. But this doesn't work if you can use Twin with Sympathetic to cast Wish twice in one turn.

I think it's a bit unclear whether giving wish a range would allow the target to make a wish in place of the caster or not; in the case of this spell the range is actually kind of meaningless, as the spell's range can be anything (depending what 8th-level or lower spell you choose to replicate).
That said, I think for the Sympathetic Spell Metamagic it would make sense to limit it to spells of 5th-level or lower, and maybe make it one or two sorcery points. This keeps it simple while limiting the potential for exploits.

Something like that. Again, it's all in the works:)

Right. Didn't think that Sorcerers might not get Invulnerability.
