So I am trying to recreate the Mariner fighting style as a feat, I have gotten the armor bonus to work more or less, but I cannot seem to get the speeds to appear on my sheet even if I have two modifiers for them that are
Set > Innate Speed (Climbing) > Fixed Value: 0 & Set > Innate Speed (Swimming) > Fixed Value: 0
I did this because there was an older thread about this that Stormknight seemed to figure out, but I cannot get it to show on the sheet even if I have the values
Perhaps if you leave it as blank it will fill it in as the base walking speed? If that fails, you could just set it at 30 - though that disregards all the races that have a speed different to thirty.
The correct way has usually been to leave the “Fixed Value” as blank and then that will set whatever “innate” speed it is to match the Walking speed as BagOfMany pointed out. The issue your having is trying to match the image from SK.
What SK did you present that image was to go find something that had been coded to work that way and then she looked at the form, took a screenshot and then posted that for folks. The problem with that is, when the “Fixed Value” has been left blank, the next time that form is viewed by he form will automatically fill in a “0” in that field. As long as the form is not re-saved then the “0” never actually gets implemented and it goes back to being blank again. So what happened is that she opened the form which auto filled in the 0, she took that screenshot and closed the form without saving which put the form back to blank, and then she posted that photo.
Try setting it to a blank field again, re-save the modifier, then re-save the entire feat using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under “Basic Information.” You must do that so the system can pick up the change. Then wait at least 20 minutes before rechecking the test character to see if it’s fixed, that’s to give the Server time to update to that change.
If that doesn’t work, then come back here and post a link to your Homebrewed feat so a Mod or Saffer (not me) can try to fix it for you, then can even help if the Homebrew is not published.

I have tried the first thing, but the second one is ironic cause the character does have different than 30 speed.
The reason I did it this way is because of this comment from a staff member, so I am not sure why it is working when it seemed to work for others.
Alright, I can't be of any more use then. I hope you figure it out ^-^
