Morgana keeps the pace, looking over Grace and Tyril in the back of the line. While Anthix has the lead, she maintains her tail of the entire group. She occasionally pauses a moment, going completely still and turning to check the group's flank.
(OOC: Can use my previous perception/stealth rolls since they kinda got put aside by the "save Tyril from landing on the poop pile" reaction update, or I can reroll)
To Tyril and Grace, Morgana speaks quietly. "Mrs. Copperpot, next time I hope we can get the red carpet entrance, and not the brown sludge one." Looking at Vivi, "Hopefully our resident artiste has a way to clean us up once we're clear of the sewer. It's why I prefer rooftops and alleys... sewer rats tend to leave a trail that any half-decent patrolman can follow with scent alone."
Tyril continues to keep vigilant as the rear guard, trying his best to ignore the smell slowly creeping up into his nostrils. It wasn't the most glamorous of jobs to be last in line, but Kaz didn't hire him to be glamorous, he hired him to get the job done and make sure if there were any complications that they would be dealt with. Tyril's eyes glance over Grace, a rather plain looking woman, but as all halflings know, looks can be quite deceiving.
Insight Check on Grace's current mental state: 11
"Come on now Morgana! Half the city reeks of foul odor from the canals!" He smiled, "But yes Vivi if you happen to have a way to clean us up at some point that would be divine."

Vivi looks back over her shoulder at Morgana and Tyril, letting out a slow, deep, chuckle, similar to a cats purr. “I do indeed. Just a little trick I learned...” she rubs her fingers together as purple sparks fly out. “When you present a pristine facade, people assume you don’t like to get dirty, and they take much more care around you. It’s all a ruse though, we performers..... we hide the blood sweat and tears behind a veneer of perfection. I assure you the red carpet is no more enjoyable than the brown, one you take to be seen, and the other to be hidden, but both have their own challenges.”
Astrid recognizes the symbol as Reaper territory. The Reaper's are notoriously ruthless people whose crimes rang from petty thief and strong arm "protection" scams of local merchants outside the Merchant Council control as well as the trafficking of magic users to continents where magic is barren. They are a group not to be triffled with.
Anthix knows all that as well as *whispers*
Roman Frederick and Kaz Stagwell rose up amongst the Dregs. When the leader at the time, Xavier Brandt, retired he gave Kaz the reigns of the business leaving Roman still a first lieutenant. Roman us Xavier's nephew so the slight for leadership was pretty big news. The Dregs however belonged to Kaz. Roman left the Dregs with a couple loyal to him and started the Reapers a decade ago. The Reapers have built their reputation ever since!
OOC: Viper you're good with out old stealth roll.
Tyril can see Grace is trembling slightly with nerves but she smiles and keeps moving.
The entire party moves ahead pass the second smugglers store and are now standing by re grate that Anthix points to above them with the short rope ladder to ascend.

Quendar looks at the red hand and then up at rope ladder and the grate above.
"Virago isn't a Reaper," Quendar says in a hushed voice. "This seems to great a coincidence to have occurred by chance; a Reaper symbol underneath a basement entrance to Virago's?"
He looks back down the tunnel they just came along.
"I don't think we should exit this way when we're done," Quendar says then looks over at Anthix. "Are you going to continue to scout ahead? I could cloak you in magic and make you invisible to the average person. That might help you see if there's a trap waiting for us."
As Vivi arrives at the rope she nods in thought. “Yes, we might have to expect more resistance than anticipated. No turning back now though. How do you suggest we leave Quendar?”
"Depending on where we locate the emerald in the house," Quendar says, "I think walking out the front doors might be a touch too brazen but possibly outlandish enough not to actually draw suspicion or notice. If not that, the neighboring buildings are liable to be touching this one. If we can get to the roof, we may be able to move along the rooftops to safety."
He looks back at the tunnel.
"Any exit that is unexpected will hopefully reduce the chances of us walking into a Reaper ambush."
“Well....” Vivi eyes Quendar cautiously, “As I was about to put forward, before you decided to belittle this woman.” She gestures at her own face, ”I have a way with people, which is clearly lost on you.... but is also not entirely natural. If we find the right mark, we could be escorted out and be given parting gifts on the way out.”
"I believe I disparaged more than belittled," Quendar says with possibly a hint of a smile near his eyes. "That does sound more like your area of expertise and I would be foolish not to acquiesce to your plan. We should still be cautious though that regardless of how besmitten the guards become to you, the greatest threat could be waiting outside."
Morgana listens to the conversation. "Another option is that we take the gem up and away, while the rest of the group finds exits here and elsewhere. I can be out a window and run the roofs better than anyone in Zozobra."
She pauses. "But only if that situation requires it. Figured I'd put it out there as another option. Speaking of options, I can scout forward with your spell, if Vivi will do the honors of making sure I leave no trace." She makes a motion towards her soft-soled boots, with the bit of muck on them - the rest of her gear is still spotless.
Anthix thinks for a moment watching them talk and looking up the ladder "cloak me and let me go first, I can check it out and make sure we are all clear before having you all come.... Sacrifice the few for the many after all" he winks and smiles at the group slightly starting to ascend the ladder, waiting momentarily for the spell.
“One second Anthix! There’s no point being invisible if you can be smelled a mile off.” She proceeds to prestidigitate his boots clean before turning her attention to the others in the group.
As both Morgana and Anthix are ready to scout ahead, Quendar decides to go with the one already on the ladder with clean boots.
Quendar rubs his thumb along the crystal in his signet ring while waving his hand quickly in front of Anthix's face. He then touches Anthix on the shoulder and speaks quietly and quickly in his native language, saying "Anweledigrwydd."
Tyril waits for everyone to climb up the ladder before making climbing himself. Keeping his goggled eyes and listening intently for anyone who was stupid enough to follow them. He could feel the moist and putrid air filling up his nostrils, though this was simply the perfume of the lower parts of the city and might as well be his own scent for the amount of travelling he has done in his life. Tyril cracks his neck once, twice, and then rolls his neck.
"With purpose my friends... Move with purpose" He whispers to himself in a serious tone from his normal speech.
OOC: Sorry for not posting, had some family stuff the other night.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once the invisibility takes, I start heading up trying to be as quite as possible as I look about making sure no one was around the exit/entrance. Taking stock of the surrounding area checking down any halls as well just briefly.
Stealth: 7
OOC: wasn't sure if I needed another stealth roll but did it just incase, also unsure don't think invisibility gets me advantage or just lowers the DC so rolled just once, can roll again if need be.
OOC: Correct no advantage on stealth with invisibility. Also there's a large heavy grate just like before. It has to be removed before anyone can climb out FYI as described before. What's the order up the rope?
Anthix give me an athletics check on the climb, please.
OOC: It'll inform the Nat 1 stealth roll.

Anthix attempts to climb the rope but doesn't quite make it, he loses his shortswords that clatter noisily to the ground barely missing Grace below! It takes a while for the rogue to pull himself up the rope ladder but reaches the grate. Anthix going to the grate you have to remove it. The grate is 10ft above the floor of the sewer over the party's head.
Anthix please roll an athletics check to shift it. DC is high, you have to hold onto the ladder and move the grate FYI.
OOC: If the party can figure out how to aid him it might be useful.
Tyril and Morgana give me a perception check, please.

Anthix stops tilting his head slightly as he looks the hand over trying hard to remember what it possibly might be from.
