((OOC: Ipkiss is resistant to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage. So 8 damage is reduced to 4 (6/10hp left). ))
Ipkiss gets whacked square in the bonce! Only his fiendish nature and resistances enabling him to shrug off the worst of the blow…
He disengages and flies directly upwards 40ft, where he turns and blows a raspberry at the yeti. “You wouldn’t let it lie would you?!… Oh, you’ll regret that my friend!… You’ve done it now!… …”.
Eve hears Ipkiss get hit and yell out. She pulls up short and spins around. She’s about to bamf him away, but sees him fly up out of range. And she sees Maudath dashing in towards the yeti.
”Oh, it’s on!!…”, she yells, and unleashes a blast of eldritch magic towards the yeti…

"I guess we're doing this?!"
The Professor pokes at his neck, and an armored helmet of gold infused stone grows into place over his head. He turns and heads back, raising his right arm in a curled fist, as the device on the back of his wrist starts to whine. With a crackling whumph, it sends a blistering sphere of lightning arcing towards the yeti.

Ok, If I can get you all to roll Initiative for me.
(Sorry bout the image quality, should get better when I don't have to zoom out quite as much lol)
Maudath turns and uses all his speed to move towards the Yeti and little imp
Eve you hear Ipkiss and see Maudath rushing towards the fight and turn to join readying a Eldritch Blast before realizing you are just a bit too far to hit the yeti and you run forward drawing your dagger as you go.
Professor you activate your new armor and take aim and fire off a ball of pure lightning towards the yeti only to have it sail just too high, not quite used to being at this range.
Just need to know what Ryhunis and Iris are doing for this first round then well get into initiative order.
"Eventually it was bound to happen, not my fault that is for sure" ((Ryhunis starts charging at the yeti move 60 ft to it's direction, movement and action 30 eacg))
((Sorry for the late reply, the first few days of classes had me swamped!))
Initiative: 23
Not wanting to be left behind, Iris turns on her heel and sprints after the others. She presses her hands together, then slowly drags them outwards, a ball of white light forming between them. As soon as she has the yeti in her sights, she flips her palms to face it, and the light arcs and crackles towards it.
((30ft movement forward. If the yeti is within 120 ft, cast guiding bolt. Attack: 14 Damage: 14 If it hits, the next attack roll has advantage. If the yeti isn't close enough, take the ready action and release the spell once it moves closer.))
((OOC: that’s a good point, if a few of us end ou move just out of range, since we expect the yeti to charge us, can we ready the action instead? If so, Eve would like to ready the Eldritch blast from above. If not, no bother. Thanks))

(noted, Iris you are just out of range for your spell to go off)
As Iris takes her last few steps forward, she notices the orb of energy she summoned begin to fade. Calling on whatever power she has left, she attempts to hurl it at the yeti, but it continues to fizzle and falls short, creating a patch of temporarily glittering snow.
Bonus action: Using Harness Divine Power to regain a first-level spell slot
(Let's hope this doesn't yell at me for messing with the dice rolls. I just typed in what it should have been without the potential advantage from the reaction guiding bolt, now that I know that isn't happening. Also, I assumed a 10 wouldn't hit for the sake of rp, but if it does, all the better!)
((By RAW, readied actions are 'lost' if you don't use them by the start of your next turn. Since the yeti wasn't in range before the start of your turn, the first guiding bolt wouldn't have gone off, but would have fizzled without being cast (RAW still costs the spell slot). So order of operations would have only the second GB being cast, and hitting for a crit. You're right that you can cast counterspell using your reaction on your own turn, but (and this was something that Grwobert taught me) the 'one spell per turn' is a short hand misreading of the rules. You can cast more than one spell, but only if you have the proper actions to do so. It's the ruleset around casting as a bonus action that makes it tricky...
A spell cast with a bonus action is especially swift. You must use a bonus action on your turn to cast the spell, provided that you haven’t already taken a bonus action this turn. You can’t cast another spell during the same turn, except for a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action.
However, if you have something that gives you another unrestricted action (like a fighter's Action Surge), you could use your two actions to cast two spells that use spell slots (or two cantrips). Using your reaction for something like shield or counterspell would also work, or if you held a readied action that somehow got triggered while it was still that turn, you could use your reaction to cast it too.

Ah, gotcha. I missed the part where you have to use it before the end of your next turn. I'm used to using the ready action for things that can be done over and over, like the dash action or a cantrip, so if it doesn't go off you can just re-ready it without any consequence. If the first one didn't go off and hit, then I wouldn't be rolling at advantage, so the attack roll would only be a 10 :(

Eve, You run forward and a blast of purplish energy erupts from your hands streaking towards the yeti striking it in the side. (Will turn Ipkiss invisible on his turn)
The yeti is up now (15). As the yeti is jumping and trying to swat at the pest flying around it, its hit with blast of force energy that causes it to rock to one side. Something new has its attention and it sees many meals. It will turn and begin moving at top speed towards the closest of your group (Using its action to dash a total of 80 ft) getting right into Maudath's face and releases a fierce howl.
Maudath you are up. Ipkiss and Ryhunis are next, then the Professor.

Maudath feels the roaring breath of the yeti on his face, and smiles, then he roars back into the face of the yeti.
His great sword slashes out in a sweeping arc, letting the momentum of his body carry him forward, rolling around the yeti and using that momentum to swing the sword hard against the yeti again.
