Kai leads you down the hall into a new room. As you walk you see several claw marks marring the walls, bits of cloth hang on the walls and scattered around on the floor, and you see the remains of two other cultist on the ground. Or you see one, he other is so badly torn apart that one would hesitate to call it a body. Wet, sticky blood pools beneath the bodies, and splatters the sides of the wall. Kai's grip on Lari's shoulder tightens briefly as he forces himself not to look at the remains.
The room he leads the group into has a large domed ceiling. There is very little light and what you can see is that the walls of the room are painted white, while the roof is painted a deep navy blue. Several long benches circle the room, resting on a series of descending platforms that eventually reach a small circle in the middle of the room. A pillar stands tall in the center of the room, a medium sized orb hovers just above the pillar. Projecting from the orb are millions of little beams of light that when they hit the ceiling give the illusion of little stars shining from the roof above. There are to exits; the once you just cam from and one about a quarter of the way around the room. Both have broken edges and large cracks that suggest that these are the doors that Aseir chased Kai through.
Kai takes a second to sit on one of the benches he gestures to the orb in the middle.
"To move to different rooms you need to change that object. From what the statues told us, you'll need to complete a test or trial or something in order to be allowed into the central chamber of this realm. I suggest switching to a different one as quickly as possible it might be able to throw Aseir off our scent." He shifts uncomfortably. "And I'd rather not go back to the room that changed her in the first place."
"When my group first got here, we were teleported into the room back there. We were supposed to be right outside the central chamber but something interferd with the casting and we were sent there instead. We had gotten a message to remain where we were and wait for the other group to meet up with us. But it was only Aseir who came through the door. We asked her what was wrong and she said we needed to push forward, that people had come to stop us and we needed to hurry before they could catch up. Now we had tried to get out of the room before, lost a few good men to those braziers, but Aseir she didn't want to play by the realm's rules. Tried to tear the door down. But this place it doesn't like it when people disobey it. Scorched one of her arms off it did. That's when she figured out the riddle. 'Fall upon thy sword.' " Kai lets out a bitter laugh.
"Took Daveth's sword and ran him through. Left him on the altar like an offering. The door let us pass that time. After that I'm not exactly sure what happened. When we got here we listened to the two statues explain the room, but Aseir went on ahead without us. We went to look for her down and by the time we found she was already..."
"Anyway that room was like a mirror maze but it was pitch black in there. Always felt like something was gazing at ya from beyond the glass. I- I never looked into the mirrors though, felt like something bad would happen if I did."
"Mistress Oriana has come here to prove her worth. She seeks to gain favor with the Great Ones by giving them a another realm to rule. We thought this realm had been abandoned, but once we found out it wasn't we had to fall on an old ritual to try and purge the current occupants."
“Great one? Byg’wigg be pretty great...” Byg’wigg gasps, “YOU BE FINDING A REALM FOR MES TO RULES!? That being very suitables gift for me of me stature. You is now favored! No ones is allowed to be killing Kai.”

Quintoc adding up the robes, the magic, symbols, and everything else you've seen you gather that these cultist worship one of the Elemental Princes, most specifically the Prince of Air. Though not true deities they do give their worshippers access to power provided they prove themselves useful.
As Quintoc examines the orb and the ceiling he come to realize that a pattern of the stars form the constellation of Aries over the door you have just exited, while a pitch black sky covers the area where Aseir and Kai had come from. Looking at the orb you spot several levers and knobs on the side of the pedestal it floats above, you get the feeling that it might be used with the orb but you won't know how until you start pulling them.
The orb itself seems to be made of metallic make, bronze in color, ornately carved, and with millions of little holes punched into it. The air immediately around the orb feels extremely warm.
OOC: so the constellations conform to IRL Earth constellations? If that's the case, Quintoc will pull levers, attempting to make it so Pisces (for Pyscalla) appears over the door where there is pitch black sky.
Quintoc roll D100 for me as you attempt to use this object that you never seen before and attempting to find the correct series of lever pulling and button mashing to get the star sign to appear.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quintoc, by sheer luck you manage to pull the right combination of levers that cause the the orb to begin to shudder. There the sound of metal scratching against metal as the lights begin moving around the room, some blinking out of existence while others begin to grow brighter. The ground shakes beneath your feet, its not the intense shaking from before, no its more of a low rumble. The dark space fades as the pieces constellation now lights the ceiling above.
