"I have a longsword you can use, it may serve you better" Gunnar pulls the sword from his pack "I have other weapons at my disposal. These disgusting creatures have fouled my armor, though, which may lead to bigger problems" Gunnar binds his wounds and tries to clean and adjust his damaged armor.
(OOC: taking a short rest to recoup spell slots and heal. The longsword is in my inventory from starting equipment, will gladly transfer. Good thing I left it there! -2 to AC thanks to the corrode metal.)
As you finish with your short break, you step forward into the next room. This room has blackened walls, scorched from fire. It is the same size as the previous ones, with a door on the far side.
Keye moves and pummels FL3 with several brutal blows.
fl1 casts fireball... Everyone: DC 13 Dex save for half, or take 28 fire damage. The skull then flies upward so it is 15 feet in the air. (Ceilings in here are 20 feet.)
fl3 casts fireball... Everyone: DC 13 Dex save for half, or take 31 fire damage. The skull then flies upward so it is 15 feet in the air. Keye can take an attack of opportunity.
T.A.N.K., Aruzhal, Gunnar, and Olivier can now go.
Gunnar uses his reaction to cast Counterspell on FL3 (if spell is 3rd level it automatically fails, if it his higher I am using an ability check against the spell. DC 10+ spell level, I believe this is a straight ability check with modifiers, no proficiency bonus correct? )
