Koll sees another one of the creatures dive from the deck of the ship into the water. It disappears beneath the surface, but it is no doubt coming towards them. All Koll knows for sure is that being in the water is a bad idea - it is their domain. He hauls himself onto the rowboat and says urgently to Alton, "Get up here now! There's another one on the way!"
Koll balances himself in the boat, crouched with his weapon in hand, ready to strike out the instant he see any part of that bloodthirsty fishman.
Lera ran forward on the rowboat, climbing up to join the rest of her team on the large boat. Drawing on the wild magic all around her, she cast the same spell as before at the new fish person at the front of the ship. The sorceress was surprised to see a bolt of lightning erupt from her finger and hit the fish person squarely in the chest.
Reality shifted again, a sense of anxiety settling in her chest. This wasn’t going to end well.
(Cast chaos bolt on L27, 21 to hit and 16 points of lightning damage. Moved to O19)
The Sahuagin caster spoke in her strange language and suddenly, a magical trident appeared next to Zamar. It moved to strike him, but he managed to duck out of its reach. The Sahuagin in front of Perrin moved in to attack with his spear, but it bounced harmlessly off the halfling's armor. Meanwhile, in the water, Alton managed to pull himself up into the rowboat. Singe momentarily reached out to help him, and the moment he did, another Sahuagin popped out of the water, determined to pull Singe into the drink. Thankfully, to Singe's quick reflexes, he was able to pull away in time.
Back on deck, Polly glanced around Lera, unsure of what she should do. "L-Lera? What do we do?" Mr. Drippy stretched in front of Lera, and hissed at the last of the attackers.
Sahuagin X23 - Dead Sahuagin U23 - Dead Sahuagin N19 - Dead Sahuagin M18 - Dead Shark - Dead Sahuagin Caster - 16 damage
Lera let out a little scream as the water weird looked over her. She ran away from it quickly, trying to focus on her current situation. She cast chaos bolt at the sorceress a third time, this time a spray of acid erupting from her fingertips.
The magic shifted around her again, producing a bolt of energy that shot out from her at a random angle. Unbeknownst to Lera, it careened into Singe, who suddenly began to feel himself rising.
(Ran to J23, 22 to hit on the chaos bolt, 12 acid damage. Also cast fly on Singe. Thanks Wild Magic.)
"Fascinating!" Singe exclaims as his feet don't touch the ground, "Now how does this work?" Singe rockets upwards. The sahuagin tries to swing, but between the speed and surprise, Singe is out of reach. Singe cackles and throws a bolt of fire at the sahuagin casting spells. The bolt akes contact but the caster brushes it aside.
Singe moves 60ft upward, sahuagin takes an oppertunity attack, rolls a 9. Singe casts fire bolt at the sahuagin priestess, 13 to hit, 2 fire damage.

Woe sees Singe rise up into the air, the fish-person trying to reach after him. Singe is clearly enjoying himself. But Alton is now alone in front of the creature. So Woe shouts and curses at the creature, weaving some magic into her words. "You slimey, ugly creature, time for you to die!" The creature feels some pain and seems intimidated, not sure if it still wants to attack.
Then Woe steps back from that Trident that is hanging in the air.
// vicious mockery on sahuagin on S20 (failed): damage 4 AND disadvantage on his next attack roll
When the creature breaks the surface of the water, lunging for Singe, Koll is ready and he strikes out with his club, landing a soft blow against its body. He then tries to grab the creature and hold it against the boat. It is much too slippery, though, and sinks down out of reach.
Seeing the Sahuagin before her stagger following Perrin's blow, Shanolia quickly follows up; Stabbing through his torso with her sword before spinning around and pulling it back out, driving her dagger into his back and removing it before ducking behind Perrin's protective shield once more, the resilient creature remaining up in spite of it's extensive injuries.
Zamar set his focus on the Priestess, whispering and weaving a spell. The moment it hit her, she slumped to the deck of the ship, dead. Seeing his priestess dead, the sahuagin in front of Perrin and Shanolia let out a loud screech and made a move to jump off the side of the ship. Quick movements from Perrin and Shanolia, and the creature was dead before it could move. After a few tense moments, everything seemed still, the sahuagin in the water never showing its head again.
"Is anyone still injured?" Perrin pipes up; after stowing away his sword.
"I believe Woe could use your aid, she took quite the hit," Shanolia responds, sliding her sword into its sheath, walking towards Zamar and holding the dagger towards him - blade pinched delicately between her fingers. "I believe this belongs to you?"
Singe floats down to the ship, and begins to speak, then stops. He then begins to gesture at his feet and the air with excitement, his hair also begins to wave. "I want it acknowledged I have no idea how I began flying, but I am going to figure out how to do that!"

Woe acknowledges that she could use a little bit of healing. Perrin walks over and tries something new. "I'm going to cast a spell, I'm new at his so hopefully it is effective." He then casts Cure Wounds on Woe's wounds to hopefully help her. It patches up a very little bit but not as much as he would have liked.
//Perrin casts Cure Wounds for 1d8+2 = 1+2 = 3 on Woe//
As Singe floats through the air to the ship, Koll scans the waters for any more danger. All is still now, except for creaking of the derelict ship as it bobs on the waves. Koll helps Alton up and together they climb aboard the ship with the others. He slaps Alton on the back. "Congratulations on not dying," he says in his deadpan voice. "And now that you've done it once, it will get easier every time you do it."
"I agree with Koll. Let's search the ship. I also, have a spell prepared to know if any of the food is diseased. I have a way to purify it as well if it is but I won't be able to do so until tomorrow." Perrin says to the group aloud before he starts investigating the ship and its former inhabitants starting with the creature that launched spells. Unfortunately, he finds nothing of interesting on her.
//Investigation to search the aquatic priestess: 1d20-1 = 2-1 = 1//
Woe feels Perrin's magic working. Her body gets warm and her wounds start to close. "Thank you, Perrin, it helped." Then she asks him: "And what about you, do you need healing?"
Everybody else quickly scatters all over the ship. So Woe gestures wildly. "I think we should try to secure the shark! If we can't find food on the ship here, then we'll have plenty to eat nonetheless! Help me to tie it to the row boat, then we can bring it in once the Flame brings the ship over!"
But first also Woe can't help herself but walk over to the fish woman that tried to kill her. "Why didn't you just leave us alone? You could have just swum off..." And she searches her body, especially for any neckless or other jewellery. But she doesn't find anything.
Zamar seems preoccupied, so Shanolia flips the dagger in her hand and slides into one of her empty dagger sheaths.
"If you want it back, just let me know."
She then proceeds to walk back towards the Sahuagin that she sacrificed to Lolth, eyeing the ground for the broken rapier's handle. With a bittersweet smile she picks it up, examining the engraved golden hilt-guard in her hands.
As everybody checks different ends of the boat, Woe decides to look for fishing gear. Not only would it provide them with the means to secure the shark, but would also be useful for further fishing on the boat.
It takes her a while to search all over the deck of the boat, the storm has done a good job. There is debris and wood pieces all over, and it is slippery and dangerous. Finally, she was about to give up, she lifts her head to look up at the broken masts, when she sees a hook attached to a 10 foot pole - and makes a gruesome discovery: a humanoid arm, still attached to the gaff. She pulls it off, and takes the gaff close to the row boat. Then she helps the others investigate the rest of the ship.
Singe goes into the Captain's quarters, he sees that it's already been cleared out of all it's goods. The room is flooded, but it's clear it's been ransacked. The cargo hold is also terribly flooded. A quick glance around gives Singe the impression that the ship was a merchant ship. Floating in the water are exotic silks and cloth. There are multiple cages, each filled with exotic animals, all sadly dead and bloated. There are some crates stacked high enough that they are still dry. He also spots a pile of goods stacked on top of one of the dry boxes. Looking a little more closely at the random items that are piled up on top of the boxes, Singe gets the feeling that the sahuagin have looted the ship and were piling it here to carry off later. Singe stops on the stairs and mutters arcane words. After ten minutes there is a small rush of air, "Turmy! Be a dear and go fetch that pile."
Singe empties his backpack and handed it in the direction of Turmy. He takes the backpack and begins to fill the backpack with whatever he can fit into it. At one point, he picks up what appears to be a crossbow, tries to stick it into the backpack, finds that it doesn't fit, and places it back onto the box where he found it.Then a moment later, he picks up a long straight stick, also finds it won't fit, and puts it back. "Turmy! Once the backpack is full, sling it across your back and bring the crossbow and the stick back with you!"
Turmy nods, and continues to fill the backpack. It takes a moment, but once he's finished, he picks up the stick and crossbow, bringing them to Singe. Singe dashes back upstairs and dumps out the bag and lays the stick and crossbow down. "There might be something good in this, they seemed to be collecting it" He goes back down stairs and collects his stuff from the steps.
