Rag has been waiting for an opportunity to strike. With bow in hand, he releases an arrow from the shadows. It is aimed at the head-shrieker who is floating just a bit above all the others:
-> Bite (blinded) vs Neya: Attack: 24Damage: 30 (6,15)
-> Bite (blinded) vs Utar: Attack: 14Damage: 17 (22,18)
-> Bite (blinded) vs Utar: Attack: 16Damage: 17 (16,20)
-> Disadvantage rolls for the bottom three attacks: 22 (7), 18 (17), and 23 (9).
None of the attempted bites are effective, thanks in part to the flyers' inability to see. Furthermore, by now, the effects of the surprising shriek have dwindled. Doozey and Thokk shake their heads and regain control of their minds.

Neya keeps up her assault on the the flying heads of the former villagers (starting with the blinded one within her reach, then the next closest if that one goes down), hoping to thin their numbers enough to start to focus their efforts on other targets.
Unarmed Attack: 27 Damage: 7
Extra Unarmed Attack: 26 Damage: 8
Bonus (1 ki point for Flurry of Blows)
FoB 1 Attack: 21 Damage: 8
FoB 2 Attack: 20 Damage: 7
(For attacks w/o advantage, the results are: 24, 16, 27, and 12 respectively)
(@Drache: Thanks for showing the non-advantage attack rolls. Much appreciated.)
Not happy with the swarm of flying heads all around her and her companions, Neya delivers another flurry of rapid blows with the intention of thinning the macabre herd. The monk is as effective as always, quickly dispatching the blinded enemy she had previously wounded. (Villager Head#6 takes 13 magical bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
The flurry continues, just as swiftly bringing down one of the nearby, non-blinded enemies. (Villager Head#8 takes 19 magical bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)

Knowing the hags are likely to counter his casting should he attempt something too flashy, Bigar dials down his approach a tad, at least for now. The greenling quickly produces a flame on his hands and hurls it at one of the blinded foes.
-> Fire Bolt vs Villager Head#10 (blinded): Attack: 22 Damage: 15 (21,7)
The shot is accurate, but the flames do much less damage to the villager than what could have been expected. Bigar notices this right away, having seen it before with the toad-fiend, and shouts the information to his companions: "Avoid trying to burn these flyers. They seem resistant to it." He then repeats this information through the telepathic link he previously set with Doozey, just to make sure the stoutling received the message so soon after being mind-numbed. (Villager Head#10 takes 3 fire damage.)
At this point, the final lingering effects of Bigar's earlier blinding spell come to an end. The affected villagers are no longer blinded.

Graxx decides to not waste his time on flying enemies for now, at least not the large green one. Instead, the barbarian runs through an alleyway in an attempt to flank the hags! He is now just 10ft away from Exirsa, though he has no line of sight to the rest of the party.
"Worry not, Young Green, I won't need fire to make them explode." Dornal then takes a page from Neya's book and swirls in a furry of blows, albeit it with none of the calculated grace the human warrior displays.
It looks clumsy but it is effective. As promised, Dornal's strikes pop two of the flying heads open (Villager Head#10 takes 22 magical bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED, Villager Head#1 takes 24 magical bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
Wiping the smirk off his face, the green fiend aims a few words at Graxx using his deep hellish voice. No one in the core CRAP group understands the language used by the fiend, though it is clear the words were meant as a threat.
The creature flies to engage Graxx in melee combat, lading right next to him {AF-90,AG-91}. He then swings his own large axe at the tribesman:
-> Fiendish Axe vs Graxx: Attack: 25Damage: 17 (16,13)
-> Fiendish Axe vs Graxx: Attack: 27Damage: 17 (10,17,Nat1)
Graxx parries both attacks with his greataxe. The barbarian is the one smirking now.
(Utar is up next. He is in melee with all three remaining Villager Heads.)
Where his magic was all too easily cast away without a thought by the crones, Utar knows that they cannot do the same to Lightbringer. Swinging the mace at the nearest flying-villager-head, he feels empowered to take another swing at the next nearest flying-villager-head-thingy.
Action: ATTACK!
Attack: 23 Damage: 10 plus 5 damage from divine strike.
Utar picks two of the heads hovering about him and introduces Lightbringer to them. The Tormite distributes his strikes such that each head feels plenty of hurt but remains afloat. (Villager Head#2 takes 15 magical bludgeoning damage, Villager Head#2 takes 11 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Finally able to properly join the fight, Thokk does not have to look around for long before spotting an enemy. The warrior had agreed to follow Graxx into battle, but he doesn't know where the tribesman is at the moment. So, he decides to strike at the closest foe for now. Gripping his trident with two hands, he thrust the weapon forward:
-> Gladiator's Trident(Improved Critical, Great Weapon Fighting, Savage Attacks) vs Villager Head#4: Attack: 23 Damage: 11 (23,11)
-> Gladiator's Trident(Improved Critical, Great Weapon Fighting, Savage Attacks) vs Villager Head#4: Attack: 30 Damage: 15 (30,15,Nat20)
-> Great Weapon Fighting replacement damage die: 7 (7)
With two steady attacks, Thokk brings and end to the foe immediately ahead of him. (Villager Head#4 takes 31 magical piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
The gladiator turned adventurer then steps forward, joining Utar in his current fight {AN-92}.
Lolmetta walks back some 10ft {AE-95} while reaching within one of her many pouches. When she turns to face the fight once again, her eyes are completely black as if they had become an inky void. Bigar can do nothing at this distance. Lolmetta aims her horrid gaze at Neya:
-> Neya's WIS saving throw {DC 15}: 19 (19)
Neya resists the hag's influence without Bigar's interference this time. Looking back at Lolmetta, the monk notices that her eyes are still as dark as a starless midnight sky.
(OOC: Reminder that if anyone wants to check if they know what spell Lolmetta is casting, you can use your reaction now, or action during your turn, to roll a {DC 15+spell level} arcana check.)
(Doozey is up next. He is grappled by Elisande. Escaping the grapple requires an action, and the escape DC is 15. His throat is also inflamed, but he is not sure what that means.)
On the back of a wave of adrenaline since coming too, Doozey accesses as much as he could in short order, if though with priority given to the Hags(Elisande Included). Even despite the painfulness of Elisande's embrace, if he could but unravel some significance -- something to warn the others of the hag's ongoing magic, then a word of warning would go out for the others.
But eventually, his attention returns fully to Elisande and the extreme discomfort in his neck. His eyes then went wide at some implication, then narrowed as grim determination took root in both visage and heart. "There's a flask on my person! Mr. Utar! Make sure she drinks it when this is done!"He strained to call out, but call out he would while struggling against Elisande's hold. Not to free himself, but to angle a blade or two for some might see as a most heartless act of stabbing into the girl. Stab he would all the same, half-hoping whatever resilience came with her transformation might see her at least downed but not dead by his hand. Though if he needed to...
Meanwhile, Peabody slithers further forward in front of Bigar and coiled up defensively, yet stayed ready to strike any foe to dared try his patience.
Action(Doozey): Bloody Stinger on Elisande. (Melee, Non-Lethal)Apostle Strike #1 - Attack: 11 Damage: 11 of magical slashing and lightning. (Melee, Non-Lethal)Apostle Strike #2 - Attack: 15 Damage: 12 of magical slashing and lightning.
(If either attack hits, expending a use of Favored Foe to deal an additional 2 on the 1st to hit. If a crit, here's an additional: 6.)
Despite the pain around his torso and throat, Doozey finds a few precious seconds to study Lolmetta's spellcasting and ask Utar to be sure to feed the hunter's drafts to Elisande when all is done. Then, Doozey refocuses on the immediate threat to his life.
One hand stabs Elisande twice while the other draws a barely used dagger and stabs the girl a third time. This third attack does not sink as deep as the first two, but Doozey compensates for that by marking Elisande as his Favored Foe. Eerily, Elisande shows no reaction to the attacks or the sparks of lightning that jolt from them, although she is clearly wounded and bleeding. (Elisande takes 39magical piercing, piercing, and lightning damage.)
Without even having to squeeze any harder, Elisande continues to crush Doozey with her arms.
-> Damage roll (no attack roll needed): 31 (31)
The stoutling suddenly realizes that keeping this pressure requires very little effort from the corrupted girl. He best find a way out of her grasp or succumb to her hug (Doozey takes 31 bludgeoning damage.)
The dead goat's half-head on top of Elisande's own head is tipping to one side as if it was starring at the battlefield ahead out of its own volition. As a spell begins to emanate from its blind eyes, Bigar quickly notices that Dornal is the likely target and produces another counterspell. Dornal is oblivious to all of this, which just proves that the counterspell was quite effective.
Elisande then adjusts her grip a bit (moves to {AK-94}.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Both insectoids stride forward. The first one {AH-91} whirls its fork-like weapon as it approaches Graxx. It attacks the barbarian by thrusting its weapon forward with three of its four hands. The fourth one is reserved for a follow-up scrape with its claws.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: May wind up being pointless, but here goes that Conc. Save for Favored Foe)
-> Conc. Save(DC 15): 22. (19)
(Also thought I called myself adding flavor to what's called out, but seems that got left at the wayside. Whoopsie doopsy! A small addendum then.)
Previously...
As Doozey came to recognize the powerful "hex" at play, or so had been warned of so long ago, he called out, "The Black Eyed One... Break... her focus before it's too late! Before her curse... pick us apart!" This he managed in-between breathes while struggling in his bind of flesh and bone. Mentally he adds to Bigar:
"If you're listening, kid. Their strength in part comes from the coven. Kill one and things might come undone."
The second insectoid comes to a spot in front of the hags' cauldron {AH-94}. From there, it exhales yellow-green toxic fumes toward CRAP+. The cloud only properly forms after it travels forward a bit, enveloping most of the party but just missing Elisande. The clearly poisonous fog has no immediate effect, but the air surrounding CRAP+ is quickly becoming saturated with the vapors.
(OOC: This counts as a spell, so the arcana reaction is available here too.)
-> The area covered by the vapors is considered to be heavily obscured. This means that anyone inside the are is effectively blinded. The only member of CRAP+ who is currently not in this area of effect is Graxx.
LAIR ACTION
"Gone be you!" Lolmetta barks at Bigar:
-> Bigar's CHA saving throw (Telepathic Insight) {DC 15}: 28
The greenling once again resists the hag's magical influence, irritating her profoundly.
Rag has been waiting for an opportunity to strike. With bow in hand, he releases an arrow from the shadows. It is aimed at the head-shrieker who is floating just a bit above all the others:
-> Shortbow vs Villager Head#3 (Sneak Attack): Attack: 18 Damage: 20 (18,20)
The arrow pins the floating head to a nearby wall. Another body falls in the background. (Villager Head#3 takes 20 piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Rag moves a bit to ensure his exact location cannot be pinpointed and makes good use of his cloak once again.
-> Rag's stealth check: 18
Taking advantage of Thokk's state, a few more heads swoop in for a disturbing kiss:
-> Thokk's CHA saving throw {DC 12} vs Kiss: 15 (15)
-> Thokk's CHA saving throw {DC 12} vs Kiss: 15 (15)
-> Thokk's CHA saving throw {DC 12} vs Kiss: 17 (17)
The half-orc shows incredible resilience despite his temporarily inability to fully comprehend his surroundings.
(OOC: Villagers' turn continues in the next post.)
Four more of these heads are hovering about, three of which are still blinded by Bigar's rainbow spell. They lash out at nearby enemies regardless:
-> Bite vs Neya: Attack: 12
Damage: 17(6,17)-> Bite (blinded) vs Neya: Attack: 24
Damage: 30(6,15)-> Bite (blinded) vs Utar: Attack: 14
Damage: 17(22,18)-> Bite (blinded) vs Utar: Attack: 16
Damage: 17(16,20)-> Disadvantage rolls for the bottom three attacks: 22 (7), 18 (17), and 23 (9).
None of the attempted bites are effective, thanks in part to the flyers' inability to see. Furthermore, by now, the effects of the surprising shriek have dwindled. Doozey and Thokk shake their heads and regain control of their minds.

-> All Villager Heads maintain their 10ft altitude.

REACTION
@Doozey/@Ori:
Lolmetta is concentration on the spell Eyebite. I'll leave it up to you to decide how Doozey knows this spell.
You should feel free to RP and describe your finding to the others. You may also relate the info telepathically to Bigar.
Despite the pain around his torso and throat, Doozey finds a few precious seconds to study Lolmetta's spellcasting and ask Utar to be sure to feed the hunter's drafts to Elisande when all is done. Then, Doozey refocuses on the immediate threat to his life.

Far back, Peabody slides on top of and around one of the fallen heads and maintains his attention on the battlefield.

-> Claws vs Graxx: Attack: 13 Damage: 10 (25,10)
Both attacks hit, though Graxx is not impressed by their damage. (Graxx takes 7 piercing and slashing damage, already halved.)
(OOC: Insectoids' turn continues in the next post.)
(OOC: May wind up being pointless, but here goes that Conc. Save for Favored Foe)
-> Conc. Save(DC 15): 22. (19)
